Not a chance in my opinion. He's been beyond abysmal for a few years now. Can't cut it in the Champ so won't have a prayer in the big league.
He won't be a starter, if so we're in trouble! But the cost of quality replacements is such that I'll expect him to still be in and around the squad

Panzo played 65 minutes against Hull on the last day of the regular season.
Yeah, that was the game when we decided to rest most of the first team for the play offs, I'd basically airbrushed it as it was almost a dead rubber lol.

But even so, for one reason or another he'd barely played for us, I did wonder if Panzo/Laryea/Ojeda were basically this season's replacements for Lowe/Spence/Garner, but that presumably would be fine in a championship campaign.

Suppose in reality he's a player we know very little about and therefore don't have the foggiest if he's PL standard or not.

We need a squad of 25 and we aren't buying 20 players to bomb all the others off. Some of the players that have been written off will still be in the matchday squad and will still get some game time. Some of them may even make a difference. We don't really know what we have in a few either as our first 11 was pretty settled for a lot of the season.

Good point on versatility. As we can't fill our squad with premier league quality in such a short period of time, having versatile players could prove critical.

That’s a wild exaggeration. He did ok as a sub a few times last season and I think he will next season too. Whether he does better than that will depend on whether he’s properly over his injuries I guess.

Please lads. Let's erase our memory of those times now. We have bigger and better things to think about than Grant & Gary Holt.

I’m thinking that Neco would allow Coops the flex to go with a back 4 where necessary.
I love Spence to bits but he’s an out and out wing back - much less effective in a back 4.

Who was that left back we had-couple of years ago. Think made his debut at city ground-cash on other side or more attacking. then picked up injury in game and that was the end of him. Spanish?

The more time he spends on the pitch the less likely we are to survive. He has been useless in the Championship for two season why would anyone think he'll be close to acceptable for the Premier league?
If he was that useless, we wouldn't have won the play off semis.

He's struggled hugely with injuries, partly down to being rushed back due to the inadequacies of the team at the time, and probably down to the way he plays.

You are going to have to explain this logic to me mate, because that is a head scratcher. The only positive part I can remember him playing is being through on goal, f***ing it up and Johnson tucking the ball away after he was tackled by the defender. In the second leg he missed one really good chance by tripping over his own feet 8 yards out and blazed a peno in to West Bridgeford.

I suppose without his pressing, Johnson's goal at BL wouldn't have happened. The goal was a direct result of Lolley's fresh legs creating an opportunity to knick the ball. Without that goal we might have lost over 2 legs.

Maybe but I am with Djed here.

For me Lolley needs to leave and restart his career elsewhere in League One or something. He wasn't good enough for us in the Championship by the end, he is not going to become effective in the Premier League suddenly - even as a sub.
