If we get another year out of him and he starts picking up Brazil caps you can chuck another 20-30M on top of that 50m
How much would we actually see of the fee. Do we know the sell on? Often as high as 40% from South American clubs. Would imagine the size of the % impacts our willingness to sell

I've got no idea tbh. It wouldn't surprise me if it's 25%

I don't see us selling this season but don't see him staying around for too long. We won't be able to compete on wages that he will be offered at a top club, probably have to pay a hefty sell on but I see him bieng a 80 mill player. I wouldn't begrudge him moving either his destined to play at the top, for the next few season at least we can't go wrong developing young talents like him, danillo,

We'll be getting bids from Champions League sides this summer, I have no doubt.

I really hope we hold on to him for another year at least, but I can see him going for a huge fee.

He's a proper Rolls Royce of a defender. It's a pleasure watching him play for us. He'll be gone in the summer no matter what league we are in IMO, but it will be for huge money.

I think we will see bidding wars from the very biggest clubs

Every huge club will be looking at him as their CB of the future. I don't think it's controversial, or bias, to suggest he might be the best young CB in the world based on both current ability and potential. He has everything you could ask for and plenty of room to improve.

So when's this chap gonna get a loan spell at Lincoln to see if he can cut it at League 1 level?

Sad because he fits in like he was born in Nottingham and he looks good in the shirt like he's happy to wear it while some others are weighted down by the shirt and expectations
Murillo,Mgw,Omo, Taiwo, if we can keep these together and keep building we can aim for another ⭐ on the shirt

That defending when Felipe let Antonio through was just outstanding (must say I felt strangely calm when I saw Murillo was covering). The way he stays just offset on the side of Antonio's stronger foot and gradually closes the distance, without either diving in or standing off too much, then the timing of the tackle - just sensational.

Like the clearance he smashed off the post for a throw in rather than give a corner away. Such composure for anyone, never mind his age.

I can't wait for him to score. With his ability to ping cross field balls about with immense accuracy, he should shoot more.

What particularly impresses me is that he always tries to stay on his feet when challenging rather than instinctively going to ground like many other defenders, which is why I made the earlier comparison with Des Walker, and an even earlier one with Bobby Moore no less. It's such a long, long time ago, but that was drilled into me when I played for my school and city boys, let alone men's football later.

I echo all the previous sentiments. Totally unflustered. Great first touch and passing range. Strength and positional awareness. We’re lucky to have him so should enjoy seeing him develop while he’s here. He has a long contract here and I’m sure the club are fully aware of his potential and worth. Let’s hope he’s happy here.

The best bit about that article is the "Nuno's low block" graphic.

I love reading stuff like this when a couple years ago we were debating whether we should pay a few million for Krovinovic to support Chris Hughton's relegation battle from the Champ.

Krovinovic was a decent player though.
