Wonder if the 'should go after' is a translation issue or indicates an opinion piece.

Also, so many triggers in this article - first skim thought we were competing with Saudi and including Gus in a deal!

Great. Now the Saudis know.

Ticks the 'can he play left back' box.

In seriousness I worry about his age/experience after the Bade thing - not against this type of signing personally, though think he'd have to be something exceptional to be considered a starter for Cooper in the short term.

YouTube gods tell me he is their best defender, very strong and fast.
He’s got „Ale“ on the front of his shirt, so it’s a yes from me.

With the Celtic talk and Niakhate injury, if this is to be believed it looks like we are after a pacier understudy to Niakhate?

Perhaps he's thought of as able to cover/compete for left back too, though don't think he has many games there. He doesn't have many senior games full stop.

Looking at his other tweets , and relying on Google translate, I suspect this is an opinion piece, not a source. But it's not clear.

I believe Gus is employed as translator these days so the top brass best pass it on to him to see if we're interested or not.

To hear the commentators saying "Murillo to Danilo" is enough to buy this chap.

They seem to want 80m hoes for his services, that might be tricky.

I love that we’re working the South American market. We’ve clearly identified something in our data modelling and scouting processes that gives us confidence that these players can make an immediate impact in the prem.

Felipe, Danilo and (to a lesser extent) Scarpa do suggest there’s an advantage to be had.

Translation issue. Technically it does mean “should go after” but the context means more like “Forest are expected to go after”

That’s fantastic Rzar. Although something about latin America and their kits with a trillion ads add flavor that European kits just don’t match.

I agree, Pumas UNAM have amazing shirts even though they have the weirdest design.

Club America probably make my favourite shirts as well.

European shirts are pretty dull in general compared to their mad shirts.

This lad looks as wide as he is tall. Apprently Murillo derives from the Latin name for wall, which seems apt.

Anyway, I'd go for Beraldo (Sao Paolo) if we're after a Brazilian LCB
