Michy Batshuayi

We are haggling over 3m after paying 19m for Wood.

This will complete the jigsaw this season otherwise could still be some hairy moments.

Still don't think this would be too bad a shout for a small fee. Ideally we need better but I feel he's better than Origi really.

A 26k turkidh journo suggest his destination is Everton or Rangers if they can make the wages

If it was a straight swap for origi it’d be good business. By straight swap I mean origi back to Milan and him here on loan.

I see no reason why we shouldn't go for him again after trying in the last 2 windows. Was poor for Palace but he knows where the net is.

Loan with an option would be ideal.

How much is his weekly wage?
I think one of the earlier posts said he was on big money.
From his recent scoring record he doesn't look to be worth big money.
There was a reason Chelsea got rid of him...

He wouldn't cost big money in terms of a transfer fee.

Weekly wage a reported 60k so would be a middle earner here.

4 goals & 1 assist in 12 appearances in Turkey this season.

27 goals in 53 appearances for Holland (or perhaps even Belgium) which is better than one in two.

Not sure what's not to like to be honest- especially if it's a loan with option.

If £60k is reliable, then I agree he, might be worth a punt.
My problem is that players coming in from other leagues seem to take a while to adjust to the Premier League level of fitness, speed, and skill, and many never quite get there.
We need a player who will mesh with the team immediately (Taiwo will be back in the mix in 2 weeks) and the other strikers will have to be happy to sit on the bench until Taiwo gets tired.
I still think bringing Dennis back under Nuno might be worhtwhile.
Afterall, Dennis is unlikely to be sold this window, or if he is it will be at a loss.
