If it's true that we're still able to offer 25m for Chalobah, then tbh I'd much rather we used less than half of that to resurrect the Batshuayi deal instead. I'm very comfortable about our depth now, and for the most part we should have enough for a comfortable mid table finish - except for if something happens to Taiwo we're properly screwed.

As long as you submit the paperwork by the deadline you can get an extension & complete the medical later

I think we have signed players about 2 or 3 days after the deadline before.

I'll take all of what these Turkish sources are saying with a huge pinch of salt, I have no idea where we stand on this one.

Am I right in thinking that as long as we have agreed a fee and terms with the player , sent this information to the FA we can do the medical and finalise the deal after 23:00?

Thankfully those days are gone.

I'll be hugely dissapointed if we dont sign at least 1 though, seems a retarded move to say the least. We didnt replace Surridge for a start.
