Should be playing. Crazy that he isn’t.

So true. Experience is needed when things aren't going well, and Figs has been horrid the past 10 games or so. For Figs making his country's team of the season his country must be in a bit of trouble.

I remember when we dropped figs for Dawson last year as we needed experience, we still looked shit at the back

Daws should just stick to doing his radio interviews about how good Bale is for Tottenham

He only got 1 game though didn't he? Figs has had plenty now.

Daws brings more to us as an attacking side than Figs too. Even if we stay shit at the back, at least Daws' passing from the back helps us out the other way.

Think it was a couple, certainly brought him in for Millwall where him and Worrall looked like theyd never met

Dawson doesn't have the legs anymore.

He's alright to bring on to close a game up but let's be honest, he's mainly there to help the dressing room.

Dawson is better than Blackett, better than Figs and would be perfect in the middle of a back three with Worrall or McKenna and our new young Soh. The best back line we've had for ages was when Dawson was a young lad with old man Walker beside him showing him the ropes. In the Championship an older central defender can easily cope with young legs beside them.

His playing days at Forest seemed over realistically end of last season but it would have been nice for the fans to see him off today.

123 Forest appearances. Not much at all but he has a big Forest story to tell. Forest are in his blood. Modern Forest Warrior to remember.

Well said Bryan, also good to see you back.

I'd like to see Dawson involved with the Academy, potentially moving toward becoming a first team coach in the future.

He's a class act and if it was something that remotely interested him, I'd have no problem letting him combine it with his Sky punditry.

Something tells me that Sky would like him on screen a lot more though, in the same way JJ is on the BBC.
