Memories of the 2013/14 season

I'd rather forget it all to be quite honest. We completely imploded after suffering injuries and I'd rather not remember that.

The contributions of Pato, Lansbury and Reid won't be forgotten though. And a few others.

Blackburn away was decent:LOL:

A few other decent days, but other than that, mediocre. Never really got going at all. Never put a winning run together, and that was our downfall.

The players that didn't get injuries were being chopped and changed all too often for us to be consistent.

Not played good football, other than a few exceptions. But I'm sure even Barnsley can point to a few exceptions... ironically against us probably.

Forgettable, but the club and Fawaz will have learnt. We seem to be going from the instinctive Billy reign to a structured plan under Pearce, that has more of a future.

People will be disappointed by the latter end but best not to dwell on it. Leicester didn't dwell on their playoff loss, did they.

Positive for 2014/15.

The Daily Mail thinking that shirt I designed was a club's press release!!

I know that Nuno that I know that Nuno that I know
7. The realisation that we are nothing more than an average Championship club

If we all realised this - we might then be able to make progress.

My fear is that as soon as Fawaz realises this - we are in the shit!

I'll remember the injuries... oh god, the injuries

Kevin being banned will ring out for eternity too

Best: winning at Huddersfield and thinking we might be in with a chance.

Worst: losing at home to Wigan and realising we definitely weren't!

Not much to remember.

The Lichaj-Hobbs-WilsonOrLascelles-Cohen back four looked as strong as you get at this level and it'll be good to see that reunited next year. Indeed the emergence of Darlow and Lascelles as first teamers was nice.

Too many negatives to mention bot you all know them.

That aside, a Matt Derbyshire wonder/lucky strike tops the billing. Over 46 games and that's all you have to pick from says it all really.

The sacking of that Scottish twat.

Osborn coming onto the scene.

When Pearce was announced as manager.

The bit of a cup run we went on.

To me the highlight of the season was hearing the Sheep Shaggers singing "Your getting sacked in the morning."

For someone who hasn't had the chance of going to that many games over the years, to see every single game this season has been pure joy. No matter some real crap was served up, I enjoyed every minute of it all.

Sounds like it was a mint experience for you fella, met a few fans from other clubs at our games doing it over the years, all have had great stories and fond recounts. Hopefully do it myself when my boys are a bit older and can join me.

Which away days stood out for you?

Personal highlights for this season was the superb comeback against Watford - a proper exciting game.

Also picking and choosing away matches this season has made me enjoy them much more. Sheff united and Derby atmospheres were incredible - even if the football left a lot to be desired. Hendos last minute goal vs. Blackburn was fantastic and to end another season ticking off the remaining grounds I haven't been to is always a good thing.

Watford was fantastic I still have it sky plussed. My favourite moment was the west ham game. We looked a real quality side that day.

All were great fun in different ways, but Brighton, Leicester and, strangely, D***y were great.

I've enjoyed a lot of this year actually. Last couple of months have been a bit awful but for the most part it's been pretty good we've been challenging at the top end we've picked up some good results along the way.

Hobbs goal v Derby was great, as was Derbyshires v Leeds. I really enjoyed Leeds away too given how bad it had been prior and how that reinstalled a bit of hope into our play-off push. Leeds away is always a decent game for atmosphere mind.

Bad days I've had. Barnsley away. so bad. The performance, the result, the tossers in the home end who thought they'd make a point about the miners strike and have a pop. Just an awful away day on all fronts that one.

Nothing will compare to Charlton at home though. That was just horrendous. I haven't witnessed anything like what I saw that night in a long, long time and I never want to see it again.

As stressful as it's been though I can't wait for the next season already. Glad I've got the World Cup it's always this time of year I wonder what I'm going to do with myself till August!

We made it look so easy that day. A side brimming with confidence. How things changed :(

This season has been the usual rollercoaster with great highs and huge lows. I don't think I can remember a more injury ravaged squad though. Apart from West Ham, the 2-0 victory over QPR was pretty good (I was watching with a QPR fan!) and the Weeds game when Derbs scored made for a pretty good Xmas/New Year period.

It's the hope that kills us !!
