I agree. Excellent player who had a great season in a poor Burnley side. Really hope we sign him.Assuming Mangala signs, this lad should be the next one we push for.

One thing that might play into our favour is that Burnley supposedly want a resolution this week. Hopefully the Kostic transfer drags on so that we can get in there before West Ham can.I think we might actually lose out to West Ham for him, ironically. They're trying to get Kostic from Frankfurt who reportedly doesn't fancy it because of the lack of Champions League, Cornet is supposedly their backup option if Kostic doesn't sign.
Apparently Moyes is known as 'Dithering Dave' by agents because of how long he can take to make his mind up about players and actually act on signing them. One thing that might play into our favour is that Burnley supposedly want a resolution this week. Kostic is class too btwI think we might actually lose out to West Ham for him, ironically. They're trying to get Kostic from Frankfurt who reportedly doesn't fancy it because of the lack of Champions League, Cornet is supposedly their backup option if Kostic doesn't sign.
I mean, they spent 18 months chasing Lingard only for use to apparently conclude a deal within 48 hours. Hopefully that does open the window for us to sign Cornet.Apparently Moyes is known as 'Dithering Dave' by agents because of how long he can take to make his mind up about players and actually act on signing them.
So perhaps we can nip in as being slow to act certainly can't be levelled at us this summer.
A bizarre take?Joelinton has played the last season and a half in central midfield.
Lacazette, Bamford and Broja as hold-up men is just a bizarre take….

Lacazette...
"Not an out and out striker but a constant threat for the opposition with his hold up play"

Broja...
"Broja is an incredibly athletic forward. His 6’3” frame and intelligence with which he uses his body enables him to win an impressive 4.68 aerial duels per 90. He is built strong through his upper body, a useful asset in holding off defenders when receiving the ball with his back to goal or when carrying the ball."

Joelinton was still a hold up striker in accordance with the debate...
"His psychical presence and hold-up play had never been questioned"
The rebirth of Joelinton: From Premier League flop to Newcastle's Player of the 2021-22 Season | THT Opinions
The Hard Tackle takes a deep dive into Joelinton's journey from £40 million striker flop to box-to-box midfield destroyer, as he becomes the unlikely poster boy of Eddie Howe’s revolution at a new and ambitious Newcastle United.www.thehardtackle.com
Bamford...
"I like Patrick Bamford as a player — he’s an old-school centre-forward who holds the ball up well and has a very good awareness of what’s going on around him."
Stick with me youth and you'll be alright. Same goes for you Calvin.
That may well be the reason we have had suggestions he isn’t keenNixon is saying West Ham have made their move for Cornet now.
