"Forest now appear to be the likeliest destination for the player"
Why not pay? If they really want the player, they will have to pay sometime. Go for it EM, I am so pumped up this close season, the players we have, seem to be what the club want; personally they are names on a list with a few videos to watch."Forest now appear to be the likeliest destination for the player"
Burnley: the transfer equivalent of wanting the moon on a stick. I know they love a derisory offer so I'm sure they won't mind us offering half that cos the cash is up front."Forest now appear to be the likeliest destination for the player"

He can provide competition for Toffolo at wing back until Richards comes back whilst also being able to play up top, either as part of a 2 or 3. No reason why he couldn't be utilised in the 10 role as well given his attributes & versatility. He's ideal in every way plus he's a proven goalscorer in the Prem. Will we be changing our primary formation to a 433 with Cornet, Awoniyi and Johnson the front 3? Unlikely with signing Lingard.
Is he coming in to play LWB when we have 2 already?
Is he replacing Awoniyi as his attributes read similar to Awoniyi and Johnson?
Or will he be used off the bench?
So many questions, I think I'll just go with the flow on this one.
Exactly. His quality and versatility will mean he'll probably make the starting XI on a regular basis one way or another. Really want us to get this done.He can provide competition for Toffolo at wing back until Richards comes back whilst also being able to play up top, either as part of a 2 or 3. I 'll say it now- if we get this lad in we're going to stir things up a bit.

Johnson's, Awoniyi's, Cornet's and to a lesser extent Surridge's playing style on paper read like the same to me. Need a target/hold up man more importantly in my opinion. He will be competition for Johnson/Awoyni.
Awoyni Cornet Surridge and Johnson for our attacking options with Jesse and Co behind looks good to me.

We did 2 months ago. Not that I'm advocating Davis' return due to his injury issues, but he didn't half help us kick on with his hold up play especially in games where we were struggling.Who has one these days? Even Kane who could play that role doesn't anymore.

Kane, Haaland, Nunez, Jiménez, Bamford, Calvert-Lewin, Mitrovic, Abraham, Broja, Lacazette, Joelinton, Wood, Moore, Benteke, Rondon.Different game in the PL, aside from Burnley who we've swapped place's with I'm struggling to think of many players who play a traditional holdup role.
