Did I read it was a loan with an obligation to buy? Suppose it'd help Everton in terms of FFP and Burnley in terms of getting Cornet's Prem wages off the books.

I agree, the more I think about him the more I would like us to go for him.

But I don't think there is a properly concrete link that I have seen yet (i.e. nothing from Percy or the Athletic)

He got 9 in 26 in a side notoriously shit at attacking, and in his first season in the Prem.

He scored lots of very good goals as well, not tap ins. He could play anywhere in an attacking position - I can just see him & Johnson playing off Davis or Taiwo.

That's impressive figures, I'd suggest we spend what it takes to get him in. He could easily be the difference in our squad.

We do need a few more attacking threats and would like Cornet. I remember his goal against United in the CL..... He was a real handful against City too.

Surely he is best on the wing where he can run at people rather than a 10?
