Unless your lot is different, the one they serve us is practically F-Tier. Spicy chicken sandwich from Popeyes has always been the standard of fast food here, much better than that religious nonsense from Chick-fil-A.

It occured to me that you might not have Slims over there
Founders Brewing Co. in Detroit was the go-to; their brewery is in Grand Rapids, and they have a taproom in downtown Motown that served some excellent locally brewed ales.
I have had to be dragged out of there, more than once.

Got a Wingstop about 3 minutes from me, will always enjoy their wings but I get their tenders.
Slims is a southern and Midwest thing right? I looked up the closest to me and it’s Vegas so might have to try when I go in the summer for EVO.

The only problem I always find with food in the US is the portion sizes; they are frankly, f***ing massive.

I just say that the food can't be more than 150g. Bring nachos, but bring 150g of food. Otherwise, they bring half a kilo of nice tasting shit, and you spend three weeks running it off.

Cant begrudge them on the ice water. The ice water refill is something we could learn in europe+uk.

My wife's American so I spend a fair bit of time there.
The bar food is exceptional, but to be honest the restaurant food is average and the supermarket food is the worst I've ever had anywhere in the world.
