He is a bit deluded but it was a decent interview on the whole.
Made a nice change to have some decent questions thrown his way rather than the normal dross we get from most UK journalists.

In fairness to Turner I do have some sympathy - cut out the errors and there's a decent keeper there. He commands his area pretty well and can be a very good shot stopper, but 8 times out of 10 doesn't really cut it at this level...
He's right when he says he hasn't gotten away with much (not anything mind) but that is the nature of the premier league. Its brutal but you're either up to it or you're not - we can't afford any passengers in the current situation and it's good to hear him acknowledge that (Sels questioning).
Nice guy, has more of a chance of a future with us than Vlach I feel, though think his world cup winning ambitions (LOL!!!) will mean he looks elsewhere unless he finds a way back in this season.
(Edit: and honestly, I can't forgive him for that Spurs giveaway - I was done with him from that moment: not good enough.)

I've two hopes with Turner: if he stays as our #2 that our #1 is made of steel, and that his lateness to the game means he will eventually cut out the errors.
The best way for him to do that at the minute is stay on the bench, though suspect we'll see him tonight.

He has been given so many opportunities. There has not been one game where you could say he has gained us 1 point, but plenty where he has lost us points. Samba gained us tons of points which we did not deserve, maybe karma has come and given us Tuner as pay back !
