Cheers! I shall add "aggressively" to the list of things that it wasn't.

Seriously?I'm not sure, I'm not going to make excuses, we have had lots of bad decisions against us this season but I don't think the ref did that bad today
What I don't see here is asking for a card?!?!??Just quickly, and for clarity, so as to put the Sky Sports narrative to bed and stop their spin becoming reality:
A player IS allowed to make the "TV/VAR" signal - they're just not allowed to do it "excessively".
Yates is punched and asks the ref to take a look. That's not in any way excessive.

Good post. Some of us had us to lose this one - I don't see that we've lost anthing, per se. As long as we still have our firepower intact, I see no reason why we cant take the game to Wolves next week, seeing as we have a good recent record against them and Taiwo may be back on the bench. And it is really 50/50 though - us against Luton. That is a really good bet, as the bookies will attest. We’re not good enough to play the way we played against Fulham regularly. That’s why we are where we are. So this performance shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone. But the fact we can play the way we played against Fulham is why I still think we’ll be in this league next year.
The enemy now for players and fans is to let this kill Tuesday’s feel-good momentum. We need to keep rolling up and trying to be that team, and all we need is to be it 2 or 3 more times.
Plenty more that’s wrong with this team and staff, his one. I don't see that we've but that’s for the summer. We go on.
What's the rule for punching an opponent?

I'd like to tickle you.There isn't such a rule.
Tickling someone's tummy doesn't qualify as violent conduct.
It’s a free country.I'd like to tickle you.
(I'm jesting just to be clear - I wish you no laughter/ill)
I thought I saw Morgan feeling his upper leg at some point in the first half. It's possible he isn't 100% there and so as part of his cooling down routine he needed the ice to help heal so he could still stay watching the game. It could be routine, or it could be an injury he's picked up today.I didn't think we were that bad, as someone else pointed out it looked like we literally ran out of steam in the second half. We do not need Gibbs-White or Wood being injured though. I know MGW got an ice pack coming off, but hoping that Wood was subbed just to get a rest
think the key word there is aggressively. There shouldn't be an issue with the captain asking the question, even if he is a player involved in the incident imo
Maybe because "believing a bit more" is not enough to bridge the gap between a side that spent a quarter of a century outside the top flight and one that has been embedded there for all of its history. We're at a massive disadvantage against "these teams" and it's just reality that we will lose most of our games against them. The real issue for us is why we have been so poor against the sides we should be able to beat: the Lutons, Burnleys etc.Why do we always look like we’re going to lose against these teams even though it looks like we could win if we believed a bit more..
I don't think there's any doubt that we seem to be daunted by big occasions. It could be due to having a fairly young team but it's definitely there. Yes our opponents have squads assembled for 3/4/5x what ours cost but it's not just about talent, it's about mental toughness too and in the second half tonight we didn't look like we believed we could win.Maybe because "believing a bit more" is not enough to bridge the gap between a side that spent a quarter of a century outside the top flight and one that has been embedded there for all of its history. Neco was visibly f**ked. On a yellow as well. I guarantee if Nuno had left him on and he picked up a yellow with as a result of a tired, lazy tackle or pull back cos he’s out on his feet, people would have given him pelters for not subbing him.Brings on Montiel
There’s logic somewhere, and my guess is payment triggers
It’s a joke really
As much as it hurts, i agree. Good goals bothSpurs' 2nd and 3rd goals were quality strikes. Great technique shown by quite excellent footballers. Both players wouldn't have even considered Forest when Spurs signed them. It's almost as though they're playing in a different League to us.
That we were able to match them in the first half was a positive. Unfortunately you have to take your chances, and we didn't.
Well, when we came up last season SC tried to play a relatively expansive game. We got absolutely slaughtered because it was naive to think that we could go toe-to-toe against much better players. 'Going at them' sound easy but at this level you can find that the game is over after 20 minutes and you're then just trying to save face.I don't think there's any doubt that we seem to be daunted by big occasions. Old Trafford aside I don't recall a game against one of the established 'Sky 6' where we've gone at them from the off. It always seems to take us 20 mins or so to realise we're not up against genetically modified mutants and that we deserve to be sharing the same length of grass as them.
I thought the difference in quality was the difference at the end of the day.
