Manhandled by Stewards and Police

This popped up on Twitter, shows and old man getting manhandled by the Police and Stewards.

All looks well OTT.

That copper probably has this video streaming in the background to keep his cock hard when he's attempting to rod his missus. What a man.

I'm still yet to find a police officer that is exempt from the phrase "All Coppers Are Bastards."

So they seem to be attempting to eject someone who refuses to stand up and "go quietly"

What do you expect them to do? Let off anyone for anything who refuses to leave his seat so as not to upset anyone who is offended by the sight of a fat man being manhandled?

Without seeing what he did in the first place to trigger his ejection, it doesn't have great deal of context.

I don't need context, I just f***ing hate all coppers with a passion. If you showed me a video of them helping an elderly lady across the street I'd be screaming "PIIIIIIIIG!!!!" at my monitor. It's just something that's hardwired into all right-thinking people.

Seems he was just singled out.

An aging blue in 109 who refused to sit whilst those around him and the away fans stood. Showsec picked him out as their let's-make-an-example-for-the-day (they do this every week) and then called for the police. The bloke in question sat down before the police went to his seat, even with those around him still standing. They went and spoke to him, and, whilst he was sitting down, told them he hadn't done anything wrong. The GMP seized an opportunity, or at least they thought they did, when Balotelli scored to try and manhandle him out of the ground. I didn't see how the man ended up on the floor but he can clearly be heard in the video saying he takes tablets for a heart problem before they took him out and at no point did I see him forcibly resist. Their treatment of him was disgraceful and that's not all. When the GMP waded into the crowd people were getting elbowed out of the way or knocked over, myself and a kid no older than seven included! Completely out of order and an exemplar for any aspiring stewards or policemen and women in how not to defuse a situation. There's also reports of Showsec stewards lashing out at fans. I did not see these events however but the above description is my eye witness account and I would swear to it in court.

Why do football clubs insist on having thugs policing football fans? That's all they are, morons the most part who want to start on other morons for the most part.

Cheaper then police

You get similar stories of woe on here when people are ejected.

The police don't arrest people as a bit of fun.

To be fair, they do. But you still have to put yourself in a position to be arrested and you should expect what comes your way.

Faced with 100s of people breaching the rules I'd think singling out 'an example' is the only way... presumably if he'd sat down as requested it would have been fine.

The "but they're doing it too" argument is silly, and the kind of inane justification that seemed prevalent amongst the idiots using the 'riots' as an excuse to go and nick some new trainers...

there's far too much paperwork associated with arresting people to do it for fun.

I think you have to be a certain type of person to be a police officer. They obviously enjoy it otherwise why do it? I know a couple and they both love the physical side of it; the paper work is just the downside to it.

hardly call than 'manhandled' if the old bloke wasnt acting like a little f***ing kid, refusing to stand etc - what a prick.

I've found if nearly running one down as he tries to put a ticket on your windscreen is the best way to get out of paying for your ticket

True dat, the only ticket I've had was when I parked naughtily.

Both points are true, but councils are now using City Centre parking as a form of fundraising, to the detriment of the populace and local businesses. If you can't park anywhere in town without paying an exhorbitant fee, you're going to end up in some hideous out of town development and a tiny part of your soul will die.

And on another point; what the f*** has happened to old school traffic wardens? The ones in L**ds now come dressed in some kind of risible paramilitary fancy dress, with lickle straps and buttons and radios to make them feel big & important, and combat trousers like All Saints used to wear.

NOTE TO "TRAFFIC ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS": YOU ARE A POORLY-EDUCATED TWAT WHO PISSES PEOPLE OFF FOR A LIVING, NOT A MEMBER OF 22 SAS.

That's not the traffic wardens fault though, that's the fault of the council that chooses to put rules in like that.
