Man City Fans - Post Match Comments - RIP Calvin Plummer

Can I just say that their away fans were absolutely wank. Yet another club completely outsung by us. As much as it pains me to say it their away support doesn't even come close to United.
United have been one of the best sets of away fans for years, but it’s a dilution of the masses of shit tourists that go to the home ground.

I was thinking about this today. I just hope if we stay up the fans carry on the mentality because they make a massive difference

Barely heard them all game apart from a brief burst in the second half. No wonder Pep’s been slagging off their home support for being shite.

Have to agree with the fireworks comments though; for me they’re wearing a bit thin after “just” a draw, whoever it’s against.

Not any time soon, and even then, there will be massive legal challenges from City (who, to be frank, can, and will, deploy an army of expensive lawyers as they did when previously charged with financial breaches).

I can’t see anything happening this season, put it that way, unless something startling comes to light.

It's not Forest or Forest fans setting them off though is it? Eva's Grill have decided it's a good marketing ploy for them, so they do it, that is it.

Once upon a time City had a vocal, proud and realistic away following. They were respected as the underdog of Manchester.

The days of them having been happy with a point away at Forest are long gone of course, as has that respect they had in English football.

They are not allowed to not win anymore, their silent fans demand wins away every week. They have a stadium that they cant fill, and when they get close to it they sit in silence. At least when Newcastle do it the fans will back them.

Another set of fans that weve upset, another set of fans that have walked away wondering why they cant generate the same atmosphere and another set of fans that cant sing Champions of Europe.

Id rather be us thanks.

Maybe if they'd been debating gender identity before the game they'd have won. Alas.

Thanks Tiger.

Quite widely differing views - no doubt the old guard v NKOTB.

Some of the charges against them are very serious and after considerable research. They will fight them and delay them (by paying their legal advisor 80k a day). However, until resolved the mud will stick - hopefully with proper outcomes if proven. Remember its taken this long because they would not respond to requests for information. Its also clear that they stand alone amongst the twenty PL clubs.

Remember their fans turned their backs on UEFA anthems (despite being found guilty), and similarly booed EPL recently.

On the game itself we learned a tough lesson at their ground in August. Although under the cosh throughout the first half yesterday it’s further proof of the development of Steve Cooper at elite level.

I remember when the proper Citeh fans would turn up at away grounds with inflatable bananas. Used to be very vocal in the away end at the City Ground back in the late 70s/80s.

You could knock on Evas grill and and tell them to stop. Say you identify as a firework and find it offensive seeing your fellow firewoks wasted on a draw. Im sure they'll understand.

TBH I can tolerate them turning their back on that godawful "champions" league "anthem" - that bastardised competition that takes as its theme a bastardised version of an otherwise glorious piece of music

I’d forgotten the inflatable bananas, they started that craze didn’t they. Remember Villa with inflatable Pink Panthers and Grimsby with their fish 😂

On that front I wonder whether it might have been wiser just to charge them with the most serious allegations in order to reduce the time it will take and stop City being able to tie this up so long? Obviously the other side is that throwing all of the charges at them builds a picture of wrongdoing.

Not sure giving them a rocket is going to help stop it.
