The type of player in his prime maybe but even then he had execution problems. He is pretty poor now.

The idea in type of player is nice but I always say those long-passing diagonal types need to be very good to be worth it. Not sure there are many Ollie Norwood's in our division. Will Vaulks maybe.

So would rather a through the lines progressive passer and leave the diagonals to Dawson/Benalouane etc

I think it's safe to say that neither Geddy nor Bridcutt will be up to a promotion push next year.

Geddy offers a bit of something different, but I'd like our different option to be able to contribute more often Tbh.

We signed Colback on the same day.

I'm pretty sure AK could have got us to the end of the season with Colback, Bridcutt, Bouch, etc and then recruited properly in the summer.

Yet, here we are. 18 months on, umpteen CM's later and we've done nowt and are going into a summer where we could do with another two CM's.

Our recruitment needs a mentality change.

Take the point, although I do feel the screen improved dramatically under AK & we'd be looking at things a bit more favourably in most areas going forward had he still been in charge.

Recruitment looks more disjointed when the next guy doesn't want to play the same way.

Somebody said on another thread about fans overhyping our players, and Bridcutt is a prime example. A ridiculously overrated, undisciplined and poor team player. We are still lumbered with some crap in our bomb squad.

Always felt a bit bad for him as I don't think he did much wrong but got bombed out the squad.
