Could be guff from the club. Reads to me that he actually wants to play in the PL.

Let’s be honest, are that club really going to not sign players because of salary demands of players?

If it’s a loan contract like they said, then the salary is irrelevant - it will be what PSG are paying him.

I don't think it quite works like that on the wages front. In many cases a potential club will pay what the same as parent club. However, a player may be happy to earn less, so might agree to that, or sometimes the parent club will pay difference. In rare cases, a club who really want said player and won't need to fork out huge fees, will pay a higher weekly wage to get him. i.e Navas might be on £150k per week, but wanted £200k to play in Saudi etc.. Whereas, we might offer £100k per week, with PSG picking up remainder, or player earning less.

I love Henderson but he could easily go elsewhere at the end of the season anyway. We simply have to get a goalkeeper in, and they need to be at least as good as Hennessey

£350k per week, though.

We simply can’t pay that for him.

Paul Taylor says this one and Croatian one (More likely than Navas) both unlikely to happen, this is from the comments on his Athletic article

It's a joke Captain.

Joking aside though £350k a week would be £18m a year - anybody in the Prem could afford that and comply with FFP. It's about whether you would rather spend it elsewhere though.

Let's be honest though, he's probably just taking his gossip from elsewhere. It's not like we all couldn't have written the same.
