Navas is an absolute class act. Despite his age it would be a definite upgrade on Hendo especially if on a perm. Would absolutely love to see this happen.

I’m guessing Man United can make Forest be more cautious than they’d want to be in bringing Henderson back into the team. From their point of view, he’s here to gain value so they can flog him in the summer. We probably can’t take risks with him and most likely aren’t in total control of the situation.

For 6 months on a free transfer, it'd be a fantastic move.

For any longer, or if there's a meaningful fee involved, I'd start to have concerns.

I know goalkeepers traditionally retire older, but I really don't want to be in a position where we go into next season with both keepers under contract a few months away from turning 37. Feels like asking for trouble.

18 months would be fine. We had Beasant playing for us in his 40s and was still rather good.

The guy has absolutely RAPID distribution as well. One of my fave things about that insane Madrid team of 2014-2018 was his ability to get the ball out to the wingers and counter attack with pace and purpose.

Admittedly Marcelo et al are different gravy to Aurier/Lodi but getting MGW/Johnson the ball to feet quickly on the break would really change the way we implement our style

Whoscored.com has his penalty saving down as strong and thus joining penalty saving legends such as Crossley, Beasant, Samba and Henderson.

Steve Cooper's NFFC loves to win a penalty shoot out and for that reason alone; gerrim in!
