Don't think anyone will bat an eyelid. He's clearly not going to get a look in here so getting more than we paid for him is fine.

Another one that would have been back in had we gone down but not in the plans now. Looks like we'll make a little profit too.

Definitely looked like he was a good Championship player - but didn't look like he was completely dominant, so probably not one that a Prem club would be looking to sign at this stage if he were a Coventry player. On that basis, I think it's the right thing for us and the player to let him move to Rangers.

An opportunity came up to sign a player the manager knows well and wanted which suited the position we were in. Since we signed him we moved up a league, maybe that manager knows he isn't to the required level for regular Premier League football?

He also won't be on a lot, really. It's not like he was a signed to be a starter in the championship
Even if he was on £5k a week, its still about £375k - minus whatever contribution Coventry gave us which i doubt was 100%. I know its pocket change in the grand scheme of things but even so.

He'll still have a year when he's back so assuming we couldn't get the 2.5m we apparently wanted from rangers, if he has a stormer we might still get that down the line. Not sure if we have an option to extend too? Anyway, good luck to the lad...

Least it's wages off the books and hopefully some sort of loan fee whilst putting him in the shop window.

Good to see deadwood being shifted.
