Not going to make it here so a move to Rangers (or anywhere) suits all parties.
Coops might take him to Celtic

He had 32 appearances in all competitions for Coventry last season, mostly as a starter, so not sure that's true!Couldn't get in the Coventry team so best to cash in and reinvest.

I agree Red, I was making this point last summer that we should be hoovering up talent like Bowler, Toffolo, Twine etc. and doing a Chelsea and loaning one or two out that weren’t quite Prem ready but would likely increase in value. This is a point I was making last season.
If you take a portfolio approach to acquiring players, you only need balance the books overall.
Let's say for demonstration purposes we acquire 10 players at £10m. You only need 1 player to triple in value to let 4 players go at 50% discount if the other 5 hold their value.
There were swveral players we bought last season who are resealable at a 30% loss that is easily accommodated by value gains in Johnson, MGW, Awoniyiy and Danilo.
Yeh I’ve said it before, Scottish football has, if anything digressed in recent years and their prem two would struggle in the Championship. The rest are simply poor and derby levelHe seemed ok in the Championship, not sure why he'd be happy to go & play at a lower level in Scotland
The Auld firm games are a bit special. High intensity occasions. If he copes well with the pressure at Rangers no doubt his stock rises. You play in that league for the European football really, anything to get away from Scotland
Yep. The league is crap, but with Celtic and Rangers there is at least European football and the possibility of silverware. Doing well at those clubs probably puts you in the shop window for a better move too.You play in that league for the European football really, anything to get away from Scotland
Yeah back to the ChampionshipYep. The league is crap, but with Celtic and Rangers there is at least European football and the possibility of silverware. Doing well at those clubs probably puts you in the shop window for a better move too.
They're only special because of 50,000 pissed up jocks / Irishmen spouting religious bigotryThe Auld firm games are a bit special. High intensity occasions. If he copes well with the pressure at Rangers no doubt his stock rises.
He is one I had high hopes for when we signed him. I hope we included a sell on clause.Good deal that.
He defo has something but if he was benched by Coventry he's not Premier ready.
I still think we'll be seeing a lot more of him in the future though. With another team in the PL.
Agree. He is one I had high hopes for when we signed him. I hope we included a sell on clause.
I'm looking forward to being the club the "prem quality signings" in the champ come from, instead of the dross getting dropped on us.Is this going to be the start of a wave of shit we don't want being palmed off on Rangers sure to the director-level relationships like Newcastle did to us with their chuff?
Might push the price up...Fab saying several teams still in for him.
Fabrizio loves Forest.
