John Terry

All said and done, what does it matter who's captain?

The players will listen to the tactics from Capello, then secondly they will listen who they want to listen to on the pitch. Rio, Terry, Becks or Rooney, no matter who it was it would be Capello's words and tactics which are followed.

My two pence, Rooney for captain. Only player who show's emotion AND starts every game.

I think it matters more than people realise. Look at what a disaster Kelvin Wilson was as Forest captain. He abused the position to berate other players for what were clearly his mistakes with an unnerving arrogance. He didn't have the right character to be captain and Ferdinand, in my opinion, shares his less favourable traits.

I agree, i didnt rate wilson during his early and captain games for us. He's a fixture now though

Dump Terry, Rio will piss this chance away, my money is on Rooney to captain us at the WC

Rooney for captain, so its ok to shag prostitues behind your missis back?!? :nowink:

Rio - glad he was around to take on the arm band, shame the drug testers weren't there or he sure would of done a runner.

Suppose we could of had Gerrard, but if he was a normal person he'd be locked up now for his assault, but what a suprise, he walked free!

I wouldn't of removed the armband from Terry, by the world cup, another player will be bonking away somewhere else. Sure Beckham did it while captain, but no one was calling for his head.

I wonder how many that sleep around actually do so with a friend's wife or vica versa. Unless they meet at work, they meet socially, must do. The blokes
and women I know who have strayed, the majority have done so in a domestic rather than work situation.

I wish Capello had shown some real balls and kept Terry as Captain then released a statement saying Wayne Bridge was dropped. :)

I wish Terry would shag Heskey's missis so Heskey wouldnt go to world cup!

Are you suggesting that if, in an office, a dude shags a colleague's missus he should be demoted?

In my line of work they wouldn't take it lying down, integrity's an important trait.

I'm bored of that joke and wish they'd change it to Wes Brown or someone else.

If Heskey doesn't go to the World Cup, we're in a lot of trouble. He is almost as essential as any other player if we want the likes of Rooney & Gerrard to play well.

Sounds like it wasn't 'just an affair' From reading more revelations today it's sounding like four or five affairs and a little fraud included.. He is a greedy fecker, and I think now deserves to lose the captaincy.

I guessed there was more to this than meets the eye...

Capello - earlier in the week - said 'I know everything' regarding the potential stories.

Capello then returns to the UK, and sacks Terry in 12 minutes.

I think there's definitely more than a little affair going on.

I heard there's quite a few more women to come out of the woodwork plus the Mail are reporting today about Terry taking out a mortgage on his mansion for twice as much as it's value. Very odd.

He has been involved in some very dodgy business. Many more affairs than this one. Selling tours of Stamford Bridge and the Cobham training ground. Selling his box at Wembley for £4,000 a pop. Mortgages for more than the houses were worth and 12 fraud charges relating to him.

The guy that's got the fraud charges over his head paid £33,000 for Terry's honeymoon in Dubai. Why the hell would he need someone to pay for that.

There's much more to this than just an affair with Bridge's missus and that's why the media are on his back so much. They're just not able to print everything at once.

He has shown himself to be a greedy bastard who lives up to his background.

Do all England players, or just the captain represent their country in bed?

Heard on the radio today, that JOhn Terry was being given time off over the weekend to help sort out his private life. What has happened in his private life?

He's charging his wife £5k a day to spend the weekend with him in Dubai.

A Chelsea spokesman said: "We can confirm there was an unfortunate accident as John Terry left Stamford Bridge last night.

"When driving out of the stadium at approximately 1-2 mph in a queue of traffic exiting the ground, his car was surrounded by photographers and fans.
"In the melee that ensued a member of Chelsea's security staff was knocked to the ground, making contact with the car. He suffered a badly bruised leg.

Strange how the Police report states it was 'A Broken Leg.'
Strange how someone could break their leg on a car moving at '1-2 mph.'
Strange how a Chelsea player has used the 'avoiding Papparazzi' excuse once again.
