It’s ADIDAS (again!) and KAIYUN SPORTS not MACRON, not BOXT, or UNHCR

Seriously, what the f*** is going on? Absolutely amateurish that six games in we don't have a shirt sponsor.
I don't think they are too fussed about it now because the priority is to get the team working together and winning games now. It's not like they are short of funds and desperately need that sponsor.

Having a sponsor would simply add income, alleviate FFP concerns, and improve our ability to sign a striker in January. Let’s not be naïve about it.

Barcelona were all high and mighty about for years, but the world keeps moving and they’re now in the mire financially and selling the family silver just to stay competitive. Different scale to us but they must have lost out on billions over the years.

Sponsorship is an opportunity for free-money.

The funds created as a result of a sponsor may well mean the difference between a warm pint of cheap beer and a cold one.

The longer we leave it, the less it’s worth.

I'm not enjoying seeing our shirt logo free.
It's not as if we are the wealthiest club in the country who can simply eschew sponsorship on aesthetic grounds, so the gaping space on our players' chests only shouts that we are the only club in the country unable to get a sponsor.

It only makes us look amateurish, as well as putting us at a financial disadvantage. Someone has dropped a massive bollock in allowing this situation to exist.

Bit like when we had a committee and the rest were financially savvy. It was nice being different, but when the committee realised that the world had turned, it was a bit late.

Said it makes us look small time weeks ago and I stand by it.

I think it's a nice novelty, firstly if the kit itself was a belter which it isn't. It's fine but plain with nothing memorable about it. Secondly it would be a nice novelty if we were winning games and doing alright buy as we're not it looks silly.

With the lack of sponsor and ton of signings, many of which very late in the window it does scream of a club very ill prepared for life in the top flight IMO.

I’m not sure it’s the same department working on both though.

I’d be concerned if Cooper was sorting out the shirt sponsorship, or the Commercial Manager was taking training.

It does make us look small-time and we’re just leaving money on the table at a time when we’ve just spent more on transfer fees than every previous year in our history combined.

Could you imagine if Cooper was at County Hall thrashing out a deal for the Main Stand?

It's like playing LMA Manager back in the day

10 days on and still nothing.

You'd think that the club would say something if this was the end state, that Forest will play the entire season without a sponsor.

My son wants a shirt once the sponsor is announced. He's 9, these things matter to nine year olds.

The longer it goes on the more small time we look IMO whereas at first it was novelty.

Afraid to say that this is another example of the club clearly being very unprepared for Premier League football which makes sense I suppose.

BOXT put an offer on the table. Can't have been THAT difficult to ether accept or find a similar alternative.

Suggests our Greek overlords consider Forest to be bigger than it really is.

Probably in the minority, but I'm perfectly comfortable with the current situation.
I just find it odd that the club chooses not to have a sponsor bringing a few million into the coffers.

Or assuming that they do want one, just shows that they're not so good at negotiating. Hope we had a better team negotiating player acquisitions.

Not having a sponsor might actually be a USP. We've been out of the top division for 23 years so maybe the thinking is not to have anything but the badge on the shirt, so we become more recognisable as a brand *shudders* overseas.

I just wish if that genuinely was the thought process thar we'd have had some more memorable shirts. I think the 3rd is decent but the home is plain and boring and the away looks a bit naff.

I always like a sash Peru-style, clubs don't do it enough...

"Oh look at small time Forest, only spending 150m on players"

Why in the name of sweet Mary anyone gives a flying f*ck about a sponsor is beyond me. Not having a sponsor does not make anyone look small time, losing 3-2 when being 2 nil up does that for us.

Concentrate on the team and let the club and and those with actual knowledge about how it works get all giddy over it because quite frankly, its totally insignificant.

I would have no problem with having a sponsorless shirt if that had been the club's intention from the outset... but it clearly wasn't because if it had been the PR department would have come out and said "we're proud to have a sponsor-free shirt for the 21-22 season" or something like that.

We should've just gone with BOXT.

I live in London and have had more than a few people say the opposite to me when talking about Forest in the Premier League
Are they supporters of clubs that spent less than us this transfer window by any chance? :ROFLMAO:

The perception of a couple of people is whats causing this? Its not as if we cant attract a sponsor is it? Or virtually any club in the football league for that matter. Theres obviously a reason behind it, if a few 'football begain in 1991' kinds cant handle not seeing a shitting betting company on a shirt then I pitty them to be honest. I really see no connection between anything "small time" and a club thats just spent 150m.
