Wherever he goes and whatever he does Super Chrissy will always be a Forest legend and as far as I'm concerned will be welcomed back with open arms should he ever want to return home

Best of luck Chris, you deserve some

Good Luck Chris, hopefully you will return in a few years with the experience needed to guide this circus of a football team to glory.

On Friday I drove to the Nigel Doughty Academy for the very last time after 13 years. As emotional as I was, my overwhelming feelings were of joy and gratitude.

#NFFC and the people that work there have helped me and my family immeasurably during our time here. The final day promotion to the Championship, play-off campaigns and the last day survival against Ipswich are football memories that will live with us forever.

We cannot begin to thank you all enough for the incredible journey we have been on together and the life we are so lucky to lead today.

To Gary Brazil, the owners, academy staff and the academy players, you helped me when I was at my lowest point.

Playing football was the only thing I had ever wanted to do and retiring early could've left me bitter and resentful. You lifted me up and guided me onto a new career that I am loving and at the same time I have got to know some of the best people I have met in life.

The support I've had from the fans from the very first day has driven and motivated me to work as hard as I possibly can to give back to the football club. It’s been an absolute blast and I wish you nothing but success and Premier League football in the future.

Nathan Jones isn't everyone's cup of tea but he's a smart man and if he sees promise in Chris Cohen, that's a very good sign for our former captain.

Good on him. I hope he does well.

It's an understatement to say that Chris has left big shoes to fill, so it will be interesting to see who Gary Brazil recommends. Whoever it is will certainly be on merit as opposed to any choice based on any 'it must be one of our own'-type sentiment.

I wonder what Jack Lester is up to these days?

He did a very good job in that role before leaving to take the Chesterfield post with the best wishes of Gary Brazil. He's also close friends with Andy Reid of course.

good luck ,chrissy.hope he will learn and grow and maybe , one day , will come back to manage forest.

And see him vilified on a regular basis for anything and everything? No thanks.

Thank you for everything Chris and all the best for the future. Which I hope for the sake of your reputation, doesn't involve Forest any more.

It's all about mid-table...
One of football's decent chaps CC.

He's had a great financial reward for his work here and will be set for life.

His memories made me sadly chuckle though, how bad as our club been for years and years, and still not a chink of light at the endless tunnel of mediocrity.
