Yep he’s a good player. Just had a very unique playing style. Carlton Palmer esqueHappy to say that the good stuff today, far outweighed the bad. There's definitely a player in there.

Yup. Maybe we'll see him in the cup v Blackpool? I'd make him play that if AFCON hasn't started - earn your coin kid!So, if he's banned for the next match and off to AFCON, then he won't play another Premier League match until the reverse fixture against Newcastle
Or come back from the AFCON injured and not be seen til August. He's going to become a fan favourite and first name on the team sheet by April IMO
I think we'll see him do just that against UnitedI hate to repeat yet again but I have watched Orel Mangala turn in some pretty decent performances in the #8 role, for my local side for three seasons.
The lad can absolutely play further forward, if needed.

I think it’s more to do with Mangala not being a very direct player. He’s tidy but doesn’t really have the same forward drive that others seem to have. Granted he’s pushed forward with style twice recently but I don’t think it’s his natural game.I guess Mangala was rested yesterday because he’s on 4 yellows…smart

Yes: 1 match ban for 5 yellows before 31st December.Think Sangare is suspended, unfortunately.
That is where you would be incorrect.I think it’s more to do with Mangala not being a very direct player. He’s tidy but doesn’t really have the same forward drive that others seem to have. Granted he’s pushed forward with style twice recently but I don’t think it’s his natural game.
Well we’ll have to see it here then because he comes across as a very tidy David Batty type at the moment. Perhaps that’s what Cooper wanted when we kept passing it straight to the opposition but I’m yet to be convinced on his driving or incisive attacking quality so far. But I do like him and before he arrived he was the one I liked the look of from my YouTube scouting! That is where you would be incorrect.
I’ve watched him play three seasons as a more attacking #8. He can absolutely play that way.
And back on he goes. WTF is that all about lolAnd off he goes on a stretcher.
A nonce being unsportsmanlike what a shock.
