I remember Steve Bruce sending his Hull team out to play in this formation at the CG a few years ago. They won obviously.

Yes I agree and I did say that just frustrated we don’t have one yet I could be being unfair on the club as they could be actively looking as we speak.

Dont think thats a given, we've 4 wingers, 7 central midfielders with Freeman floating between the two.

I personally think we're short on one quality player for each position, but wouldnt be shocked with our track record, if the club thought we'd got enough.

The Arter interest came as a pleasant surprise, lets hope similar interest in a decent winger follows.

Arter seems a right dirty bastard on the pitch, but I suppose that is from an opponent's point of view. If he were on our side I'd likely think he just gets stuck in.

Perhaps that is what we need, but one who is smart enough to only foul like that in the opposition's half. Unlike Colback who seems to think giving away 5 free kicks each match just outside our box is OK.

Can't see us paying 30k, but they'll be some club that spins the wheel and stumps up the cash in the hope of reaching the glory land.
