I’m not sure with this one. Never been mentioned anywhere bar a couple of South American sources, albeit one was Tim Vickery.

If true I think he might come here right after the end of the Brazilian season which is mid November. He can train with us during the World Cup and be registered in Jan.

The player himself has said he is definitely leaving Palmeiras on a free, so he has signed with someone.

Question is, is it to play for Forest or Olympiakos?

He also said it was his dream to play in England so there's your answer.

Weird one as South American players are usually picked up these days very early. He's apparently got a lot of ability but there's got to be a reason he's made it to his late 20s and hasn't moved to Europe

Yes mate, he's shit and walks with a limp. Is that what you were looking for?

On the contrary, I fully expect him to be diamond in the rough that had eluded all those European scouts for the past decade. Its quite possible that we may have signed the next Pele.

Paranaense should be ejected from all competitions until they change their name back to Atletico or change it again to Athletic.

“Athletico” is an abomination. It’s not Portuguese, English or even Spanish, it’s just nonsense.

Put Palmeiras through to the final immediately

Noooo. He's the most exciting one! Based on very little info of course. But he's brazilian and cool.
What's interesting is that according to the report he's coming here and 'disnt want to break his agreement' with us. Positive signs I'd say (if true).

Palmeiras denied ever having the conversation according to the original article.

Scarpa made it clear he wanted to play in Europe and Palmeiras didn’t stand in his way.

Article also says Palmeiras could have “easily matched” his Forest salary, which is good news.

Nottingham's dirty secret
I'm excited by this chap.

On the one hand he was voted the best player in the league- which is no doubt full of talent.

On the other you have to wonder why he wasn't snapped by a European club earlier if he was any good- like most promising Brazilians.
