Decent professional knows this division and is knocking on a bit,his manager says he can go out on loan this window. And we are odds on favourite to sign him.
We dont need a spring chicken, we need a certainty... Gayle is an expensive certainty, Murray wouldnt be.No spring chicken, but as a backup aerial threat on loan then fair enough.
Potter says Murray isn't going anywhere in January.
I know it is twitter, but the push back against Murray surprised me.
No point in getting him unless we also get some decent wingers who can deliver quality balls into the box.

If it is a loan till the end of the season, it is a no brainer. Gives us something different, yes he is 36 but to come in and do a job for 6 months I struggle to see the downside. Like others have said though, if it is a Murphy like deal with a few million to Brighton and a 3 year deal, stay well clear.

Stranger things have happened than our reserves beating Chelsea's kidsHe's not coming to Forest then, as we wouldn't care if he was cup tied or not.

Apparently Potter doesn't want to let him go, but I think if we made it a transfer with a small fee rather than a 6 month loan then he'd reconsider. Would cost us a bit more but ultimately Murray's likely to be decent enough next year if we don't go up, and if we do go up then a six figure transfer fee becomes irrelevant when we have 8 figure revenue coming in.
