Try A Little Tenderness
Vrentzos has retained a role in overseeing finances from afar, as both Randall and Murphy have mentioned, if memory serves.
Yes, I now recall seeing that.

I don't know, figuring out legitimate ways to make the accounts look good, for example. It would seem a total irrelevance now. Surely the big guy and his accountant set the budget and Murph works with that. What else does someone "overseeing finances from afar" actually do?

It might just be that IV is exceptionally good at the role he has, which is looking after the accounts of our club. I would suggest he has a far greater understanding of the situation than someone who is posting on here and we should leave him to get on with it.
According to the Italian press, François Modesto will leave Olympiacos as well, after having left Forest, to becoming head of scouting of Monza in Serie B.
He had been with us for six years. His failure over there cost him over here as well.
Berlusconi’s mob aren’t they? Just went up I believe
Monza is owned by Berlusconi and managed by Galliani: the duo who has won most titles in the history of football in AC Milan.
Top move for him: they are really ambitious this year cos they are targeting top players to reach Europe in max 3 years.
Remember Adrian Galliani, a pointless transfer of a youngster for whom football was clearly a hobby?
Monza have been linked with pretty much every spare player doing the rounds in serie A.
They’ll need it too. Saw them against Parma and they were pretty awful.
I didn't remember him: he's not that good like Adriano Galliani for sure
(Why is this thread still in the Forest subforum? Shouldn't it in the 'Ex players' subforum which should be renamed 'Ex players and technical staff'?).

Only thing I know about Monza is Taffy von Trips crash some years ago. I was stationed near the Dutch border and within easy reach of Nurburgring and Spa, when they were long circuits.
I was keen on motor racing then and von Trips was a terrific driver.
