Lot's say we won't get anything back because we won but they are forgetting that if it wasn't independent the PL would have got there way and deducted 8pts.
Its probably the most pragmatic approach really, I forget the exact amount they tried for with Everton but something like 16 points I think in total they went for. That and ours being successful, they would be on 29 points, we would be on 25 capable of getting out of the bottom 3 but nevertheless trailing Luton by 1 point.

Burnley gonna go down anyway as they won't beat Spurs.

May as well give us the point back now whilst Luton still have an opportunity to recover it. If they draw at weekend and we get our one point back after then it doesn't just relegated a team it ends the relegation battle entirely.
Have you seen Spurs recently? :(

I'm quite a magnanimous fella & I would accept all 4 points back along with a grovelling apology from the PL for dicking us around all season
I’ve already got my response ready when folks start messaging saying you’ve got to be happy with 1-2 points back.
We shouldn’t have been docked any in the first place by the bent bastards!

Absolutely, for me its nothing more than a minor indiscretion that shouldn't have resulted in a points deduction especially as the PL are kicking the can down the road with regards to Man City's 115 charges

Assuming we stay up, I've read that we're due to breach again next year unless we sell some players by 30 June, is that true? Can someone break the numbers down for me please.

I make it that the £47.5m for Johnson and the £25m(?) for Mangala will be in play next year, and we'll have £20m more in allowable losses after spending another year in the PL. Surely that will see us through OK?

In your "other organisations/business" where they have these "timeframes" does this "transparency" extend to publishing the dates to customers?
I'm not being contrarian when I say this because I think you're point is correct but it just so happens that mine does. Any case of insolvency where I have to place a company into administration or issue of a winding up petition has to have a notice issued in the London Gazette.

Yes, this would be an exception. There might be others too if we stretch it to other regulated activities: chemical licences; planning applications; etc.
