Financial Fair Play (FFP)

So the EFL loss position isn't really the true EFL loss position, nor is it the EPL position. It's a hybrid position that wasn't clearly documented, probably because it was made up just before submissions were due.
This statement is not correct - these figures were taken directly from the 2021/22 accounts submitted to the EFL

Does anyone have the ‘league table’ of PL clubs Covid allowances against PSR. I’ve seen it somewhere ( may have been on here? ) with Everton top of the table on £152m(?) And we were allowed F… All being an EFL club at the time.
Everton claimed £202m
Man City were 2nd on the list with £152m

I have seen this list - but not any list showing what was allowed for each club - I doubt that exists

This is why we need to shut up about this now and focus on actual football

We're making ourselves look like whining *****
True

Take the four points on the chin and win some f***ing games.

Shouldn't have spunked money on Bowler, Hwang, and all those other players that barely played a game for us then we wouldn't be in this mess.
Jesus Luton barely spent a penny and at least they play like they want to stay up.

Respect that's your take Redders, but it seems like an odd one to me. This is a football forum, most folks come here to discuss - team performance, players performance, managers performance etc. These things are not the most important things in life either - and my take isn't about it being 'spitting anger' at any of those individuals (usually), more that it's the entire purpose of the forum, to enable discussion. I also don't see why the club ownership should be off-limits for similar disucssions.
That's fair enough mate. Everyone is entitled to a view. This is not aimed at you, just generally.

You nailed it exactly when you said it a football forum for discussing team performances etc, which I obviously do. There's not much talk of that in this thread though is there?

I'm not sure what's "odd" about not wanting to constantly condemn the club like some do, its f***ing boring! I'm not defending the issues at the club but I'm also not about to start some campaign to remove an owner that has invested so heavily and got us promotion, despite the mistakes. I'll never forget that promotion season and I will always be grateful that the owner made it happen.

Why in the name of sweet f***ing Mary would anyone want him to leave because he's made mistakes since? It makes no sense to me personally and some people that spend their day on social media suggesting as much might want to be careful what they wish for! I don't consider these idiots to be 'supporters' of Forest at all.

The club has its problems, of course it does. Hopefully in time we can iron them out.

I just wanna go to games and watch football at the end of the day, I remember when we were begging for some investment......short memories ey!

Seems like the club is not taking the subtle route with its expressions of how it feels about the EPL.

How does it end though?

Unfortunately there's now a legal requirement for smoking to be done outdoors, so those corridors are now smoke-free. Makes it much harder to get a dodgy agreement put through when we can't hide in the smoke.
More decisions made in the ‘smoking room’ than anywhere else in the building - on a daily basis - in the company I worked for. As a non smoker I felt disadvantaged.

It makes you wonder who went ahead with this post. Is it someone from the media team acting as a lone wolf or has someone much higher up the food chain told them to post it?

So given that both sides can appeal, what happens if both sides appeal? Do both sides get to put forward their appeal or is only 1 appeal heard?

Is it a risk for forest not to appeal, because if they don't and the PL do then only theirs will be heard?

What a mess.

There would, more than likely, as a condition of the ruling, be criteria that pre-qualify Grounds for Appeal that either party would need to demonstrate have been met in order for any appeal to be heard.
As we don't know for sure if there are any, and we certainly wouldn't know what they are, it's very difficult to judge if either side would be entitled to appeal.

My guess would be that the EPL will be ready with an appeal - just in case we appeal.
I don't see them appealing if we don't - this will mean the season would end in chaos, that is what they are trying to avoid - I think

If people don't want to see other people discussing the club's finances and any culpability from the higher ups at NFFC vis-a-vis our current financial transgressions then maybe stay out of the FFP thread?

Just a thought
I don't want to see the thread descending into a hate campaign because its utterly embarrassing and laughable.

If this is something you struggle to comprehend then perhaps put me on ignore, but I'll be staying thanks :)

As a veteran of hundreds of board meetings over the years I can assure that minutes are not a record of discussions or who said what they ar just a record of decisins taken at those meetings. The legal requirement is for one board meeting per year, most decisions in any corporation are taken in what was always refered to as 'smoke filled corridors'.
Or, otherwise „on the nearest Golf Course“ s also often happens.
