“I’m going 4/5 points and an agreement not to appeal”

I’ll take four fifths of a point any day.

I still think the Covid losses are the big thing here as EFL capped it. We should demand equal treatment as the EPL clubs and at the same time threaten legal action if the EPL can't prove they've thoroughly investigated the ridiculous amounts pushed through some of the accounts.

If the benchmark is everton on 6 who really took the piss, lied, tried to cover up, appealed etc it must be less than that.
We also have the difficulties of promotion / lower allowances as mitigation.
I’m going 5 with 2 suspended for 2 years so a 3 point deduction on the basis we don’t appeal as a worst case. If that’s the situation we should take it and get on with it.
Also think Everton will get more than us for a second offence.
If we get more than 3/4 points see them in court.
When is Everton's second punishment getting announced? Ours is late enough in the season - is theirs going to be with a handful of games left?

I read somewhere, possibly BBC that they’re hoping they won’t get more points taken off them. Logic was something along the lines of the EFL guidelines being used to reduce their points and EFL rules don’t allow for “double jeopardy” so they might not get another set of points off.

They voted for the same system as us, so no double jeopardy should apply,

Don’t like it but I’m guessing 4 points ( having already been reduced from 6 with the unofficial no appeal agreement ).
