Does anyone remember League 1 Derby County? (STILL the worst team in history!)

Yeah, looks like they are the beneficiaries of other sides bottling it rather than bottling it themselves for a change.

Looking at that squad, they are going to struggle next season unless they spend big though. And then there's their manager's record in that division...

Now they have tasted life in League 1, if the Sheep struggle in the Championship next season and get relegated again, how sweet it will be. Before, League 1 was the great unknown to them. Next time around they will know what they're in for.

As for Bolton, they really have had a sloppy dump in form recently and are in dire need of some wet wipes.

Pains me to say it but these swines are looking good for automatic 😕, Premier League survival isn’t negotiable now.

One thing I can take solace in is real football fans ( not the arse kissing media ) couldn’t give a toss about Derby and possibly still resent the fact they stiffed everyone possible and from the outside it looks as if they got away with it.
You’ve hit a nerve with this next door 😂😂😂

They need a reality check if they think folk ain’t sore about what they got away with …….ask anyone at St Johns Ambulance……I’d hide my colours if we were guilty of the same.

The answer to that last post is simple - it's when you've paid back all of the money you owe people.

He's not wrong though. Derby got afforded a ridiculous HMRC tax cut to allow the one purchase offer they had to work. That discount was more than what sent many lower league clubs to the wall.

Unlike their own ungrateful fans, most supporters don't forget in a hurry. They are the stain of the EFL and everyone outside of Derby can't wait to watch them fail again.

Bury 1m gone to the wall ……Derby’s debts were similar to that of Chile’s national debt still trading 🤔, pay what you owe then crack on as far as I’m concerned, if they bothered to look I’m not into double standards, check out my thoughts on PSR we breached take ya medicine I also didn’t want us to appeal as we’ve admitted guilt already.

Maybe they should poll the poor sods who lost money and jobs locally when debts were paid back at pennies in the pound 🤔.

We breached FFP. Most of our fans rightly blame the ownership for mismanaging the situation.

Derby breached FFP, failed to pay transfer fees owed to over clubs, ripped off local businesses and charities and ripped off the taxpayer to the tune of tens of millions of pounds. All the while they were bragging about having everyone on strings and worshipping the ground that the man who caused it all walks on, all whilst blaming everyone else but themselves and their beloved Mel Morris for their problems. Crying about how their club needed to be saved because it is a vital part of the community; the same community whose businesses and charities their club and their messiah ripped off.

What Derby did goes far, far beyond just breaching FFP. Deep down they know this, but never publicly acknowledge it because they are ashamed and it's easier for them to just brush it under the carpet and sing "f*** the EFL" every week.

They know what they are, but they'll never admit it. Just like Leicester fans want everyone to forget their 5p in the £ shenanigans.

Until they pay the taxpayer, local businesses and charities every penny of what they owe, they have absolutely no moral high ground to criticise anyone.

So our Bonfy has got you all rattled for speaking the truth eh?
Well here's some more embarrassing truth for you to whinge about.

Forgot he went into hiding. 🤣

They will probably get promoted and we will go down (unfortunately), but if we do stay up and Derby somehow blow it again I wonder if he'll go back into hiding again?

Quite typical of a lot of their fans though. Very cocky when things are going their way (see "Mel has everyone on strings!") but either go into hiding or point the finger at everyone else (see Ze List) when it doesn't. Victim FC.

When a few of ours went onto theirs and pointed out a few facts they were banned, fair enough.

But now they come lurking on OUR forum and go back crying because they don't like/can't handle the truth.

And don't forget folks, Crewton says.... "THERE ARE NO DEADLINES" 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

I don't really know why they come on here if it upsets them so much.

Did they think us (and many others) were going to forget the things their club did and how they got away with it? And how they blamed everyone but their club and Mel for their problems? I mean, they even attacked some of their own more reasonable minded fans for saying things that they didn't like (there are quite a lot of actual Derby fans on Ze List, after all!).

Sorry sheepies, but you were more than happy to gloat about how you had everyone on strings, how Mel was a genius for finding another loophole, sang about having a party when Middlesbrough's chairman dies for having the audacity to call you out and singing "f*** the EFL" every week despite them showing more leniency to Derby than I have seen them give any other club. All whilst they don't say a word about ripping off other clubs (like that Polish club they owed money to), the taxpayer (you know, the taxes that fund our NHS and other public services) and the businesses and charities in their own community. A bit of piss taking on a rival club's forum is a slap on the wrist compared to the consequences that that club should have faced.
