Doing a Fulham is rewriting history and trying to paint a completely distorted view of reality as well on the basis that the first time Fulham went up they splashed the cash in the summer but have hardly been ruined by it, if anything its revolutionised the club.

Yes they got relegated after their first season in the top flight for ages but went down with a far superior squad and bigger budget.

The next season they were able to bounce straight back up.

They then again got relegated and as we know the following season (last year) won the championship again at a canter if we are being honest. Probably worth noting that this was with the striker that they bought in the first window for a huge transfer fee when they invented "Doing a Fulham" scoring what felt like about 400 goals in the process.

I'm not saying its an ideal model but most championship teams would kill to "Do a Fulham" and all would never EVER want to do a Derby County.

I'd wish them good luck in the third tier but I wouldn't mean it, hope its shit and long lasting.

Piss taking about us losing to a team that play a league above them? Well they can f*** right off, because we’ve got 12 months of taking the piss out of the teams they lose to that we can look forwards too.
