Doing a Fulham is rewriting history and trying to paint a completely distorted view of reality as well on the basis that the first time Fulham went up they splashed the cash in the summer but have hardly been ruined by it, if anything its revolutionised the club. The good old "DOING A FULHAM" claxon in Mordor.
And of course they are rubbish players because they haven't heard of them. All through gritted teeth of course, as they debate amongst themselves as to why Curtis Davis (37) hasn't signed the two year deal offered to him.
I'm starting to think I am wasting my time even bothering to look at what they are saying now, what's the point anymore? They aren't going out of business, they aren't going to compete with us for decades - they will just become an irrelevance who watch us from afar.
Yes they got relegated after their first season in the top flight for ages but went down with a far superior squad and bigger budget.
The next season they were able to bounce straight back up.
They then again got relegated and as we know the following season (last year) won the championship again at a canter if we are being honest. Probably worth noting that this was with the striker that they bought in the first window for a huge transfer fee when they invented "Doing a Fulham" scoring what felt like about 400 goals in the process.
I'm not saying its an ideal model but most championship teams would kill to "Do a Fulham" and all would never EVER want to do a Derby County.
I'd wish them good luck in the third tier but I wouldn't mean it, hope its shit and long lasting.
