I can only guess tutu injury is worse than feared. Why else do we need so many right backs?

Are we looking at Hughton’s 2nd law: There is no left side of the pitch and the centre is to be skipped. All play will now come down the right or from hoof over the now nonexistent centre

I have to confess I'm not familiar with this lad, but Wikipedia (yes, I know) describes him as a "right-back, left-back".

If we have three choices at right back, then Desmond probably becomes the alternative at left-back ahead of Bong...once they've gaffa taped his leg back together anyway.

This lad can evidently play left-back too Alf.

We also have, in my opinion obviously, a more-than-capable left-back for this level out on loan in Serie B. Hughton's replacement may seek to bring him back in January if a problem remains, although I'm expecting Lowe to perform well in the role.

Not sure, he's signed a new contract at Boro though. Dunno if that's just them protecting themselves or a sign they want to keep hold.
