He is still a youngster, and sometimes his head gets away from him, but tonight he seemed much more disciplined, whilst still being an absolute engine, alongside Yates.

Never shied-away from showing for a pass, looked to create angles, get forward, and support the attack, but had the energy to get back when needed.

He still has a few rough edges, but I will tell you this, tonight was possibly one of his best outings in a Forest shirt.

This is key for me.

We need to play him, but we also need a backup plan for if he's playing shite, and to not be afraid to yank him off first half if he is too.
The back-up to Danilo should be Dominguez.

2 progressive midfielders in Dom & Dan.

2 defensive battlers in Yates & Sangare.

Though Danilo seemed to make more dispossessions tonight than I've seen all season.

Yeah, he's a rough diamond and he's only going to get better. he's got a cracking engine.

You mentioned his discipline tonight. I think that could be applied to every Forest player. The urgency with which they were running to cover all the gaps, to close down the opposition, and to get in tackle after tackle, while not getting booked. We have cut out silly fouls and bookings lately.

Just need to teach them what a set piece is. I think if we improved that aspect of our game, we'd be MUCH higher up the league. There's not much excuse for it too. It's one of the easiest things to prepare for in training.

The special mention for Danilo's discipline is because quite often he's left it in the dressing room.

Thought he was superb tonight. Proper all round all action display, a very mature performance. Learning from the best, the guy next to him in holding midfield.

MOTM for me last night. Up and down that pitch relentlessly.

Hope fully he kicks on from last night. That was as good a performance as we could have expected from him given his indifferent contributions so far. Looked after the ball far better, made some devcent blocks & his passing was decent.

By process of elimination granted, but Danillo & yates looks the way to go.

Lost count of the amount of times I shouted "Well played Danilo" last night. Hope he can play like that for the rest of the season.

I love this kid - he's so gifted it's unreal. Defensively solid yet dangerous at the other end of the pitch, always looks to shift it forward early if it's on.

No mistakes last night - that can happen as he's 22 and playing in a position where they always get noticed - and he's improved his heading game too.

There aren't too many CDMs that offer the attacking threat and deftness of touch he does - his assist last night was superb.

Discipline? I've never been concerned there - there will be times when he is out muscled but he'll make up for that with his ability. I see a kid who has played pretty much every position across our midfield in the most punishing league in the world after a massive move at a very young age.

I'm a fan. Best song too!
