It concerns me that the Nigerian FA, with FIFA's approval, will demand that they carry out their own assessment of Taiwo; call him into the squad if he can walk, and then cause a significant setback in his recovery.

As their assessment will at least partially rely on T's testimony, he would be the ultimate decision maker in that scenario.

I think it was meant to be 7 which is the most in the PL, Not sure if this was before Taiwo got injured, probably does include him to be fair as that's only 6.

But it does include 2 of our 4 RBs meaning we'll be down to Montiel and Williams during that time without the option of Aina covering LB so may be why those (and Toff) have been getting minutes recently.

Losing 3 CD options (Moussa, Willy, and Chekhou can play there) will probably keep at least one of Worrall or McKenna at the club especially as Felipe has injury issues. If the new CB does come we can't expect him to drop straight in the team and Norwich kid is still a massive unknown for us.

Boly is really the only one who is stand out big both in terms of height and bulkiness. It really does show too, how we need a player like that in the defence when it comes to defending crosses and set plays and that we are much more vulnerable to these when he isn't playing.

Of the others I was slightly surprised to see MN is 190, which may just be tall enough to be off the smaller end of the spectrum for a CB at least, but sufficiently not to be aerially deficient against top level attackers who do tend to be at least equally skilful and strong not just Kieffer Moore type lumps (see Chris Wood for a prime example of the big striker who isn't necessarily aerially or strength dominant).
JW and SM are 193 and 189 respectively and conversely on that one SM tends to play the stronger role. I doubt he would have been brushed away by Adebayo like Joe was.
Felipe is 190, same height as Moussa, guess the thing there is that he played for Simeone for a while (but was still sufficiently noted for him to pay 20m on) and actually he's played surprisingly few matches for a 30+ yr old defender so can't necessarily say he uses experience (in terms of game numbers) anyway.
Murillo is 182, so not really that tall for a central player, but he is strong and only still a young player.
Omo is 190 as well, so if he's been brought in as succession for another CB then we'd still need to be looking to replace Boly's height and bulk.

Are there any 195+ centre backs who are probably about 25-27 years old - if Syrianos is still in some degree of influence on incomings, I would guess that is where the club is looking...

Potential signing Nino has a bit more physicality about him at CB.

I know we have a lot of players in that position, but for me it’s become a real weakness, we have to be far more solid and commanding at the back.

6 players going to AFCON and Asian cup. Is that the most in the league? Seems a huge amount and going to be tough to cover.

I think wolves have the 2nd highest with 4. It maybe says a lot more about our recruitment.
