One of my favourite players ever. My sister loved him when she was a kid and one of her friends wrote to him saying she was a massive fan and would he send her a birthday card with a signed picture. He did this and also spent time and recorded her a tape recorded message that went on for about twenty minutes and really made her day. He also sent a card the following couple of years too. Absolute quality footballer and even more classy bloke. Hartlepool will be my second team next year now.
