Carlos Miguel Ribeiro Dias - Cafú

Tidy again, Though missed a sitter but had the composure to lay off Johnson rather than lose his head .

Had he scored it, I don't think he'd have come out of the crowd yet.

As Surridge was breaking away, I actually said “square it to Cafu so he can miss”

My missus said, “how did you know that would happen?”

At this point I'm not sure there's anyone else in the squad I want to see score more than Cafu. That guy will bounce into the Upper Trent and stay there for a week celebrating

I know it's rather odd to say, but he did get into the right position to miss. He made the effort and saw the run to get there, sadly the execution was not up to the thought.

But he sort of made amends.

Cafu or Silva. Both are always in the mix when its time to celebrate.

Proper team players.

I think it was you that said Cafu is a managers dream, I totally agree along with Silva. It's clear every squad member wants to be a part of this

If in some strange way, he should score on Sunday and it actually means something, I think he'll top the Dexter celebration v Bristol City, and actually f*** off into the Trent..

Cafu is saving his goal for the winner in the play off final. Can you imagine how absolutely mental he'd go if he did?

Personally I think this lad has played his way into the side ahead of Zinks from his last few sub appearances

I love him, he was fired up tonight and again played well off the bench. Get him a new contract and a place in the starting 11.

He plays with such passion and enthusiasm, a real crowd favourite - if only he could convert some of his chances.

I don't like the way the commentators made snide remarks when he came off the bench.

He plays like a fan on the pitch and supports the team like a fan off it, I love the bloke personally

If that volley had hit the back of the net I reckon I was jumping through a window.
Been very sharp, deserves some more minutes.

I think there'd have been celebrations the like of which haven't been seen in a long time :D

I hope that Cafu scores the winning goal that fires us into the premier league. He's had to sit out for a very long time but he's always the first to celebrate or pile in to help a teammate and he's played well when called upon. He seems like a great guy and squads need players and people like him.
