Football Insider lost what little credibility they had when they broke their "exclusive" story that Taiwo Awoniyi had rejected a move to Forest and was going to sign for another club... only for Taiwo to sign for Forest that very same day.

2 goals and 4 assists, played most games, some as sub. Not setting the world alight but he's only 19.
Yeah - a young lad, in a different country, playing in a struggling team.
I know we are struggling ourselves - but he will probably feel more at home here.

Fair point on CHO, feel like he’s getting there though. Wand of a right boot too, lovely cross at the weekend.
I think all CHO needs is game time.
Played his best 45 mins so far in the 2nd half @ Brentford.

Yes to Bourges though - good competition and brings additional pace

The criticism of CHO is a bit unwarranted really. Last season we were crying out for a player that can keep possession in the final third. He can do just that. Elanga and MGW's injuries and the fact we have literally no-one else in that position at the moment is leading to some unfair pressure.

Absolutely - I've read he can't cross, beat a man or stay fit before he signed and sone folk seem pretty dug into those opinions despite evidence to the contrary on the pitch.

I hope for more from him over time but am on the whole happy with his contributions, especially given the modest fee.

The problem with CHO isn't that you or I don't think he can beat a man, it's that he doesn't seem to think he can, so daren't try. I've been a bit hard on him and I obviously hope he comes good, but the fact that we might sign two wingers and nothing else this window suggests that higher ups at the club might agree with that assessment.

What credibility can we give to media suggestions Forest only want 2 wingers?

He's changed his name. It's actually the only article that's got it correct.
Yeah I realised that now. He’s made me look stupid so I hope the deal falls through 🤣

To be fair to me I grew up with players who were just called Garry Parker, ten years later he was still called Garry Parker. The only confusion was if his Christian name had one or two r’s in it!!

Maybe we are gonna loan this lad whatever his name is, cut and shut him, pop his legs on CHO, pop CHO’s legs on him and send him back.

Having alternative winger options also gives CHO / Forest some breathing space for him to capture his best form.

I've been underwhelmed with him but not writing him off.

We all know there is a player in there, and we have seen flashes or real quality but he clearly needs confidence.

As you rightly say we need options to to allow him to settle and grow

While I agree the most important thing is that CHO thinks this (and I wouldn't pretend to know what he's thinking) I think it shows we have only two wingers currently.
