Another Carlos to talk about. City fans reckon he’s a star academy graduate that they will waste, and would be mad to give away at that price.

FM stats look like he'd dominate League Two, but nothing more than an impact sub in the prem. Also FM gives him 182cm (6 foot) but wiki 169cm (5'7) which is quite a difference! Could be one of those moneyball style signings where a player like this on the pitch would give the team more goals despite there being better players out there.

Interesting. Feels like a fairly tangible link, coming from ESPN.

I can't see us dropping £11m on someone to sit in the u21s or send out on loan. But also this wouldn't probably be a player that starts every week.

Perhaps we'll be after two left-sided attackers?

Judging by the Youtube clips, unless everyone else in PL2 is a 6'5 giant, he's more like 5'7 than 6'.

Looks pretty good though. Loan?

Loan also adds him into the 25 man squad I think. Not ideal.

Much like the young Brazil lad Angelo. U21, ideal moves of this nature.

Risky on the face of it given his lack of senior experience (besides obliterating Derby in the EFL Cup), but I suppose we wouldn't be starting with wingers most weeks (at least early in the season) so it gives the lad a bit of time to bed in first. If he is rated that highly by City and we are willing to drop £11m on him then both clubs must think he has something about him.

He's only got a year left on his Man City contract according to the ESPN article.

We will have to take risks, some will pay off and some won't, but if he develops into a Premier League regular then he's gonna be worth much more than what we paid for him.

Also worth noting they value him at £11m, doesn't mean he will go for that.

Him and Giovani are risky, but both are quite intriguing at the same time I think. Some risks can yield great rewards, and you kind of get the feeling that this lad might turn out to be one of those. He is clearly very talented and highly rated.

Also if anyone can help him make the step up it's Cooper.

Looks like he has some class close control and a tidy first touch, also good at making decisions in tight spaces and while running. Those are good building blocks. Can never trust a highlight reel tho.

Brennan will have a contender for fastest Premier League player, within his own team, if we sign him.
He's rapid !
Other than that, I have no idea how good he could be.

I can see us signing a couple of u-21's for a fee, like this guy though.
In this League
£11m to £0m if he's a flop, although realistically we'd loan him out or sell him for a nominal fee
or
£11m to £50m+ if he's anything above average.
They're decent gambles for higher ceiling potential, and increases the squad size hopefully.

I'll be honest, never heard of the bloke. Saying that, I'd rather we took a punt on someone with years ahead of him and could make a profit than a seasoned pro looking for a last payday.

Nottingham's dirty secret
I'd like this but can't see City letting their star academy lad go for anything other than a loan.
