He's taken this long to get fit enough and now he's starting to show his ability he could be a real star for us.
And he's ours! He's taken this long to get fit enough and now he's starting to show his ability he could be a real star for us.
Him and MGW are developing into something rather special. Genuine love between them. He's taken this long to get fit enough and now he's starting to show his ability he could be a real star for us.
The annoying thing is, if they were playing for Chelsea they’d be in the England squad by nowHim and MGW are developing into something rather special. Genuine love between them.
To be fair there is a lot of talent in the sort of areas they operate. The annoying thing is, if they were playing for Chelsea they’d be in the England squad by now
Wages aside, £5m combined for the pair is laughably good business, irrespective of the asterisk next to Hudson-Odoi's name when we signed him. Hopefully upper management have taken note that value for money is a good thing.CHO and Aina are the bargains of the season for me.
Can't argue with that. Aina was a great pickup on a free and £3m for CHO is proving to be an absolute steal. Hopefully we can pick up a few more bargains like that this summer.CHO and Aina are the bargains of the season for me.
Aina is a £15 mill defender for me. We've signed some great players, we've also signed too many players but hopefully thats all part of some sort of weird Forest learning process..Can't argue with that. This quick:I can’t imagine how quick CHO was as an 18 year old pre injuries. He is still pretty bloody quick, especially running with the ball.
You get the feeling that it's a confidence/ mental block, just holding himself back, hopefully we stay up and start to crack on next season. This quick:
Edit: Worth a watch just to see why he was quite so highly rated coming through - and while he may have lost half a yard of pace following the injury, his game is/was about so much more that that.
I'm convinced theres more to come...

So do I, and I’ve really enjoyed watching him play this term.I think this lad's game is phenomenal. One of the bright spots of the season.
Would have signed them in 2022 had the Greeks not intervened and insisted on signing Omar Richards and Giulian Biancone instead .I think they were on Murphy's 'wanted list'
No way that the current regime can accept any plaudits for signing these players
The weird thing is that he has occasionally crossed with his left, so he can do it. I'd like to see him on the right too. I like him, I think he has a lot to offer.I love this guy but feel like he needs someone telling him constantly to be brave. Think I recall him saying that SC used to tell him to "never be boring". I feel that this has crept into his game a bit.
Additionally if he could develop a passable cross with his left he would be a ridiculous threat.
Wouldn't be against him switching with elangs occasionally so he could go round the outside More

Man City put one man on him, and a second man blocking the inside path, because 99% of the time he gets down his wing to the edge of the 18 yard box, stops in his tracks and tries to cut inside to shoot.I think he needs to use his left foot because now he is a one trick pony
So it would make sense for Forest to encourage the left-back to always make runs down his side, distracting the opposition and also giving him the option to slip his teammate in down the byline.Man City put one man on him, and a second man blocking the inside path, because 99% of the time he gets down his wing to the edge of the 18 yard box, stops in his tracks and tries to cut inside to shoot.
Forced down the outside, he is effectively neutralised.
That's where you need the left footed left back bombing down the outside. If the defenders over commit to CHO coming inside it is an easy layoff to overlapping left back to whip in a cross. If the defender doesn't over commit to CHO cutting inside then that in itself gives CHO more room to play in. Unfortunately because Aina is predominantly right footed his natural instinct is not to go down the outside but to hang back himself, pretty uch leacving CHO no where to go or we just end up passing the ball back out from a dangerous position.Man City put one man on him, and a second man blocking the inside path, because 99% of the time he gets down his wing to the edge of the 18 yard box, stops in his tracks and tries to cut inside to shoot.
