Hes a good player, we won't get him because he is too expensive but he's good.
None of the Boro fans rated a certain loanee that we had that turned out to be a pretty good player so I'm not sure that their views lend particular credence.
He joined them for 6 months as a 20 year old kid, started 9 games, came on as sub 9 times and didn't set the world alight but that Boro side didn't score loads, their top scorer was a centre mid who got 10 goals, not sure what the boro fans expected.

It’s not about the stats really though. I viewed with my own eyes him playing in a style similar to Dennis but without any pace.
The only redeeming thing was that he was young. He may be amazing now somehow but I’d be very underwhelmed if he did come.

If he's available for a reasonable price, I'd like to see us throw our hat in the ring for Nketiah. 9 goals in all competitions this season for someone who wasn't a regular starter is a decent return. Still only 24 too.

You'd imagine the Nketiah thing might link to the Rice transfer - weren't West Han in fir him last year? They'll have some decent money to invest after selling Rice (and using public money to build their stadium!).

Always been a bit underwhelmed when I’ve watched him play, kind of similar to the lad from Leicester we’re linked with.
