Worth pointing out at this juncture that inter are well on their way to skinthood and will have to sell before they buy.
Yep, ways to go yet. Arsenal also currently getting taken by West Ham for one with Declan Rice.Worth pointing out at this juncture that inter are well on their way to skinthood and will have to sell before they buy.
Yep, on balance I’d certainly agree. Especially as an all upfront amount. Arsenal sticking to a £34m valuation as Inter sniff about, for now.€40m is insane for this lad.
I don't think you can ever tell nowadays what's insane or not, people said MGW fee was insane now it looks like a bargain.€40m is insane for this lad.
Yep. If we did sign Balogun for the €40m asking price and he scores 15+ in the Premier League next season, he'd be already worth a lot more than the €40m we'd have paid for him. MGW has probably already increased his value by at least £15m after one season.I don't think you can ever tell nowadays what's insane or not, people said MGW fee was insane now it looks like a bargain.
Just watched through that game and agree.I thought he looked quite good for USA last night. There is definitely something there. He has good pace, looks solid technically, and seems a reasonably intelligent player.
Pulisic is always hurt though. I'd stay away from him. He has some talent for sure, but it is one thing after another with him, injury wise.Just watched through that game and agree.
Pulisic and Weah also standouts. Pulisic still only 24.
Weah would be a solid replacement for BJ should he chose to leave.Just watched through that game and agree.

I think it was your comment on Weah I picked up on in the McKennie thread just now. Very good RW option.Weah would be a solid replacement for BJ should he chose to leave.
Not certain he would warm the bench. So €40m for a striker to warm the bench for our €20m striker?
Nope, two up top. MGW sat behind, more advanced wing backs. All possible with a stronger back three and a CM who can retain possession. We need to address those positions too.So €40m for a striker to warm the bench for our €20m striker?
Did you watch the final?Sign him. This guy is the real thing.

Balogun was miles better than Jonathon David. David was absolutely dreadful, as was Alphonso Davies. Balogun took the second USA goal superbly, and had an excellent game. He played well vs Mexico too, albeit without a goal. He is an electric player and we should go in full bore. Wherever this kid ends up, they've got a player. I was very impressed. Equally so with USA mid Yunus Musah (Valencia). And Gio Reyna (Dortmund) before getting hurt was outstanding too. Reyna went off injured and he has had an issue with injuries, but he is a very good player.Did you watch the final?
Missed it myself but was interesting to see how he and David looked in comparison (albeit a one off game it was an important one). Have always thought David would be a superb signing
I'm not doubting you but genuinely asking, why hasn't he made it at Arsenal? I've personally never been wildly impressed with the likes of Nketiah, but who is obviously well ahead of Balogun in the pecking order.Balogun was miles better than Jonathon David. Arsenal fans aren’t too happy at the prospect of him leaving, and are questioning why Nketiah would be retained before him.I'm not doubting you but genuinely asking, why hasn't he made it at Arsenal? FC Bayern are also trailing Kai Havertz, as they seek a long-term successor for Thomas Müller in the „Thomas Müller“ role.Plus, they want Havertz don’t they. Or at least Arteta does.
