Or just cowgirl or at least 17 other ways I have just thought of!

I have to declare some experience in these matters, having suffered a series of knee and back injuries!

I speak to you all from my hospital bed, having had a my left knee removed and a nice new titanium steel one put I.
Currently catheterisation, the thought of any nether region tampering is not something I want to contemplate.

It's such a shame. As the confidence was draining out the side I still don't think we got to see the best of Britt. He's one of those players were, if he loses a yard or two of pace his game will suffer like david johnson did. In the build up to his his injury we saw what he was all about too. Strong turn and direct pacey running at the defence. I don't know if anyone can educate me as it seemed such an innocuous passage of play for such a serious injury but is it one of those where if it hadn't happened then it would have happened to him at some point anywa? Are certain people predisposed to it and is that down to training and physique or was it just sheer bad luck? Different injury but you could see how Gascoignes knee would have been messed up when he did it.

I believe that about 90 odd percent who suffer the same injury as Britt do not get a recurrence of the injury. Which is a much higher percentage than a lot of other major knee injuries.

Photos of Britt's knee https://t.co/EUJKqLlwbg looks awful.

Having had my left knee replaced 4 weeks ago, let me reassure you.
My knee looked pretty much like the first of those photos of Britt's knee.
The surgeons use a variety of dissolvable stitches deep in the muscle and sub-cutaneous fat tissues.
At the skin surface they use quite heavy duty staples that look fearsome and ugly.
However, once removed, after about 10-12 days, the surface is left looking really neat and in my case the scar is already barely noticeable.
The trauma within the knee post op causes the body to produce a lot of fluid at the site of the op, resulting in a good deal of swelling around the knee joint.
As thesurgical incision heals, internal scar tissue forms.
It is vital that this tissue is kept supple and not allowed set stiff, otherwise future mobility will be impaired.
Again, in my case, the physios were with me 24 hours after op, getting me out of bed, standing and walking with a Zimmer Frame.
At 4 weeks post op I am now walking without aid, and started hydro therapy yesterday, to really get the joint moving and to accelerate the strengthening of the muscles, and restore the elasticity to the ligaments and tendons.
With Britt being such a talented and valuable asset, the physio programme, massage and mobility work will be far intense and sophisticated than it has been for me, a humble retired NHS patient.
There is every chance of him being restored completely to full fitness; time and patience is required.

When I was 14, following a car accident, I had an operation to insert pins in my knee. I got really intense cramps in my thigh where the whole leg would visibly shake and leave me feeling shattered.

It always felt numb where the pins were inserted in my knee. Even now the knee is still numb and if I kneel down it's like an electric shock where I have to jump up.

Knees are terrible f***ers to have played around with. However not so long ago Theo Walcott was out for 9 months and made a full recovery from a cruciate knee ligament injury http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...lcott-shows-pictures-knee-injury-Twitter.html
