Right can someone explain what's happening here please. Am I correct in thinking he's tried it on, Forest have told him to do one and lined up a better player as replacement. Samba's now realised he's made a right balls up of this and is desperately trying to get back into good books?

Who knows?
It is all social media and mass media unsubstantiated bollox until deals are actually done.
When we entered the promised land we all soared with the eagles, bouyed up by sheer joy that it was our turn.
Now, reality is kicking in: the Prem is run by the media, by money, by greed and as we are now part of the Prem, we are seeing just what a bolloock-fest it really is.
II'm looking forwards so much to the first game... then we'll see that it is all smoke and mirrors, and Forest will simply do their talking on the pitch.

It's all a load of balls football isn't it? Outside of actual matches, the media, the interviews, the pundits, the breaking news, the BBC rumours page etc. it's all just a whole load of meaningless crap to fill time between matches haha

I agree totally.
And I am as bad as everyone else (worse than some) at having to trawl the web, this forum etc to try and sate my insatiable appetite to be first with the news!

Something tells me having him as backup wouldn’t be the best idea. Unhappy presence in the dressing room?

If he wants to go, let him. Very disappointed if he does though

See I don't do that, BUT when I visit here or BBC sports page it occasionally sucks me in! And sometimes I have to almost snap myself back to reality, especially on BBC when they write articles purposely designed to cause people to get annoyed as that gets more comments than anything else, I have to remind myself that it's all fake haha

From what's been said / written, if he doesn't like the contract or feel welcome and well respected he won't sign the new contract. So surely the only reason he'd sign an extension would be if we've solved all those "issues"?

He won't want to be here if Henderson is, 'cos Henderson won't be coming here to sit on the bench.

Absolutely this.

It's great for them that love that sort of stuff but I find it very tedious to trawl thru it.

But avgot me m8 Project Zeus to keep me up to date 👍

In fairness to what clobber he's wearing, he's not going to be wearing a Lens tracksuit to work out in is he?
Gets a video with Moussi, plays the fan favourite card, maybe the powers that be cave and give him what he wants?

Or, maybe just reading into it. Moussi lives in France, has a connection to Forest and he's just met up with his pal Brice for a spot of pre-season training. They've made a video because they like the clubs fans.

If Henderson comes in, 100% he goes. He's not going to ride the bench all season and Forest would be silly not to cash in if he's gunna go for nothing in the summer.

The whole thing is strange isn’t it.

The way I am reading it, Samba got the hump with the clubs offer and went public, but the club wasn’t having any of his nonsense so called his bluff and just went out and got what they perceived as better - and now Samba maybe is regretting it.

I dunno though, it’s all a bit weird. I am sure we will find out over time, not that it’ll really matter.

Yeah, no way he stays if Henderson comes in. If the permanent move is off the cards then he probably leaves on loan with his wages covered to get some game time and maximise his earnings next year.

That makes sense and recently he has filmed himself wearing forest training gear, when he wasn't before. I think Cooper will Bench him for his attitude again and will get his chance to shine once the new keeper messes up in goal.

While I don't pay attention to all the media stuff, lets pretend for 2 seconds it's all correct...

To be fair to Brice, if I told my employer I felt a wage offer was disrespectful, and then they (potentially) hired someone on over twice what I was offered I wouldn't be thinking I screwed myself, I'd more see that as proof I was right lol

That's a bit like me getting pissed off because a band I'm in won't cut me in for an extra % of the earnings, and then being more pissed of when they give an extra % of the earnings to my replacement Saul "Slash" Hudson.

Most rational people would look at the situation and think "fair fucks, I'm out my league here". As should Brice if Hendo comes in.

Got to know your own worth in life, shouldn't accept less just because someone says you're worth less

Again in this scenario I'm humouring the media talk,but if he feels he's worth more then good for him going out to get it
