Brice Lauriche Samba - „Magic Hands“

The doubters should hang their heads in shame

Honestly. BACK THIS FUCKIN KEEPER! He is incredible

Balls bigger than the football. People go on like that's a negative, he is MADE for nights like this. He was controlled in every penalty, if he had to step up and take one he would have blasted it top bins too.

I take every thing even mildly critical of this man, that save late on and the penalties. f*** me. If we end up going up he’s earnt legend status.

12 out of 10.

Those 2 saves in the match he had no right to make.

Sheff U would have won 4-1 and another night of misery would have awaited us long suffering fans.

He looked up for it from the start and has written his name large in the folklore of this great club with tonight's performance.

You are complete correct.

Samba saved us so many times in that second leg in normal time, where Sheffield United had a few open chances.

They could have scored and taken the tie into an even more difficult scenario.

Then again he saved us in the penalty shoot out.

He was the ultimate hero tonight.

It's more just a feeling I get with him. Posters can throw all the stats they like at me, and the stats obviously tell part of a picture not the whole of it, but it's just a feeling I have in me gut. He doesn't fill me with the same confidence a few others have over the years.

I don't think he's shit at all, nor would I be gutted if we began 22/23 with him in goal but I feel if the option is there to replace I would be open to it. I'd have him as the weakest link in our admittedly all round fairly strong side at the moment.

f***ing hell, good shout mate :congored:

The dipsticks moaning about him don’t understand what we have with him. Sure he’s a bit mad but the best goalkeepers are. He’s won us this game Tonight.

What is it about good goalkeepers and being bit mad?

They're the drummers of the football world. And Samba's Keith Moon mental. Makes the odd mistake due to his flashiness but he's brilliantly unhinged and produces the magic more often than not. I wouldn't change him for the world!

Make no mistake, without Samba in this second leg, and forgetting the penalties, we'd be in the Championship next season.

Samba has given us hope to go for something more.

A truly magnificent goalkeeper.

I have come to the conclusion that he's our most underrated player.

If not then definitely the most undervalued by a minority of our supporters who clearly are a terrible judge of keeper.

Samba is quality, the slating he gets its quite frankly boring now. People are too used to him and ignores the excellent all round games he has. If it were up to me he would be our main keeper for the next 5 years to come.

Putting tonight’s heroics to one side, I’ve long thought he’s brilliant. I refer to him as being a poor man’s Ederson with his sweet left foot.

He’s been very good for us. Occasionally over the top with the shithousery and an odd error. But he’s comfortably the best keeper we’ve had in yonks. He like keepers who have confidence and command their area.

Plus. I’ve always said - he simply makes me smile with the way he play.

Anyone questioning him needs to give their head a wobble. We’re lucky to have him. And I thought that before tonight - now I want to nosh his 4 foot cock.

Wow. Possibly the best goalkeeping performance I've ever seen. The bollocks on the man to stand still for the Hourihane penalty and just swot it away.

Hourihane must telegraph all his previous penalties like Johnson last penalty against United in the league. samba water bottle had hourihane as stand and he did shoot it straight.

There is a data analyst at Nottingham Forest who earned themselves a big bonus last night - And an evening out on Brice Samba.

As Cooper keeps reminding us, it's a team game and whoever worked out what to do for each taker did a fantastic job.

Only hope now the secret is out that it doesn't go to penalties in the final as we'll need another ruse!

Worth pointing out though, we'd have been through in normal time if it wasn't for his gaff at Bramall Lane.

So I'd say some of the criticism levelled at him was valid (doesn't mean people hate him or think he's bad, something which a lot of posters really struggle to grasp)

Fantastic way to redeem himself though, and his cult status is well earned.
