Blame me. I'm revving up for my 'local' game at Reading and just like 2 seasons ago we have a big name influential player out long time injured. Last time it was Britt.

I heard his ankle will never be the same again, same as Britt's hamstring and Fryatt's achilles. And George Boyd's eyes.

Our new American overlord is going to meld Bendtner, Assombalonga and Fryatt together with the latest robotics technology to create one bionic injury-free striker. It's not yet known which international team this cyborg will represent.

Or, no, nobody knows the severity of his injury yet.

Whichever one you prefer.

I think if it's an ankle injury it will be three months, and then you got another month of him trying to get match fit again. This is very irritating just as he was starting to play very well.

That's a big presumption H, what if he just rolled it and he'll be fine once the swelling goes down??

We can only hope, but either way I think we looking at least two months out. This is scary because if Vellios is injured, we literally have nobody with Britt hit and miss regarding his fitness.

Hannah, stop worrying about it until you know.

People said they seen him driving. If you have had a really bad injury you wouldn't be able to drive would you a day after?

I drove home from football with a snapped ACL and PCL, a journey that took over an hour... but then i didnt have medical staff telling me what i could and couldnt do like what he has.

Im sure Forests medical staff advised him on his do's and donts and the pro that he is he will stick by them.

You certainly wouldn't be driving with a broken leg or ankle for example.

Ferrari's are tiptronic so you only need one good leg.

As for the crutches and protective boot I think they are standard practice in football while they wait for the swelling to go down before a scan.
