BBC Match of the day farce.

Watching this farce every week, Lineker and his buddies clearly show distain and disrespect against Forest.

This Saturday, their comments were entirely about Brighton, not a single word about Forest. Didn’t show our goals, never discussed the penalties, never discussed the disgraceful behaviour of the Brighton players during our penalty, or about Dunk’s ignorance with the ref.

The favouritism shown on the top clubs is so unlike the BBC and they should take Lineker to task on it.

It's annoying but not surprising. Generally speaking they do a lot well but also leave a lot to be desired...

I've not watched Match of the Day since Jimmy Hill stopped presenting it. It's been shite for years and years.

What could they say about us? We were pretty much outplayed by Brighton. The penalties were both soft, but we benefitted the most as our penalty resulted in Brighton losing their minds and Dunk getting sent off. The analysis was interesting in that it highlighted how many players Brighton push into the opposition penalty area to create chances.

To be fair to them on Saturdays performance the less said about forest the better and they could have ripped us without much defence from me.

Whilst I take the point about Brighton and their movement, you would have had no idea who they were playing because not once was Forset mentioned either for mistakes made or defensive blunders.

Looking at the stats, they were pretty evenly spread apart from possession and that wasn't too widely separated either.

MOTD tends to focus on the team that wins (unless a big six side loses). Every club thinks they're biased against their side.

Funnily enough, I have hardly watched MoTD this year at all, because I have come to prefer the more neutral coverage offered by Sky DE.

They don‘t play favourites, they offer a more balanced approach to games and a more even analysis.

Granted, they are quick to point out a player who may have previously played in Germany, but that‘s understandable and never gets in the way of the commentary.

The wing nut bin dipper Lineker is paid £1.3m a year by the BBC, a total waste of money.
Rumours are that JJ is lined up to replace him eventually on MOD- at least this will give us a better balances Forest perspective if we are still in the Prem.

MOTD showed just how good Brighton were, relentless first time pass and move which very rarely gave the ball away and allowed them to move forwards until they suddenly flooded our box with six players.

I'll wait for the full match replay on the OS to see whether the Brighton behaviour after our penalty was given was quite as bad as it looked on the day, and how long they delayed the kick being taken. I really wanted a couple more sent off as they were just taking the piss.
