And people question why we’re bringing in the lad from Villa, he’s literally a younger stronger and probably better version of Taylor without the winding up antics.

To be fair Thomas I think (and said) that Davis would be a good signing

Wasn’t saying you but surely you’ve seen the large amount of negative reaction on both here and other social media sites?

People hung up on his scoring record when really he’s not gonna be expected to score 20.

Yes, I have. Personally I don't agree with it.

Me neither obviously, think he’ll really help our other attacking options grab the ball further up the pitch. Grabban seems to be having a rough patch at the moment so hopefully Davis can come in and give Grabs a break.

We really do need some sort of Grabban replacement tho.

Not sure about a Grabban replacement, but I think Davis offers something we don't currently have, namely height and strength up front to hold it up.

He reminds me of a Dele Adebola type - might not score many but gives you time in the final third to make the pass.

We'll see though. He hasn't even signed yet.

If he stays there, don't expect perfect finishes and top quality decision-making, but he can be a trouble maker for the defence of the opponent.

Judging by your comments, last night he played according to what I remember from his time over here.

I mentioned last night he feels like an early January signing. Impressed with his contribution considering he's hardly kicked a ball since the summer. I think he's got something to offer.

As I had said a few days ago, the Greek press has completely forgotten this supposedly done deal. And now Aris signed on a 5-year deal a promising young player from Honduras, who plays as a winger or as a secondary striker, just like Silva (https://www.transfermarkt.com/luis-palma/profil/spieler/539043).

So I guess their interest in Silva is a thing of the past, presumably because you weren't interested in sending him away (especially without money, which was what Aris hoped for)

The reports over here on Xande are a bit ridiculous: Aris tries to convince the player to come and you to let him go on a free. That makes no sense whatsoever.

I think the situation is the following: Xande is not high in your wingers' pecking order; depending on ins and outs at the end of the transfer window, his position in the pecking order may stay the same, or recede. If the former, then he stays; if the latter, you may let him go (Aris being a friendly club to EM and all).

That's not a very nice way to describe Louie Sibley's face...

Speaking of Sibley....

has Cafu gave him his head back yet?

I agree that he looked decent when he came on. Was a good option to unleash on a tiring defence in Mighten's absence.

Must be very confident of landing one of their targets.
