When a guy who was part of the media team at Forest during the Fawaz era states that it is the worst 24 hours of football club ownership he has ever seen, and that includes some of Fawaz' stunts, you know you've gone to a whole new level.

I suppose this sorry episode has shown that as poor as Fawaz was, it is possible for an owner to be even worse, and that home-grown owners, even local ones, can be every bit as bad as foreign ones.

Announcing he is going to sell the club has to be deflection, and will be remembered as part of the calamity.

Think he said months ago that he wish he'd never bought Notts. If he's talking to two parties, this isn't a new development. It didn't need to be announced last night with a 'it's nothing do with what's happened just now but...' announcement.

Best thing he could have done surely was ride it out for a week or two. Be seen to take all the jokes well. Then announce he's selling if he still wants to do that.

The jokes won't stop, but some people will be over it, already bored of the same jokes on their fourteenth run through, and be thinking that half of us have a winky and that there are worse that things people csn do than accidently display it publicly. He'd have a bit more support from Notts fans at least, if it looks like he's just cutting his losses by then. Tired of it all, rather than looking like he's running in embarrassment. Ideally he'd wait until the end of the season, this news hardly helps a team trying to save their league status.

As it is, it looks at the height of embarrassment he's released the biggest news he could think of to get people talking about something else.

And if hadn't announced he was selling before this weekend, he might not have wanted to at all. Best thing he could for his own ego is try turn Notts around, even if it's after relegation. Right now he'll be 'remember that Notts owner who flashed his penis and legged it?'

It's looks like just another nail in the coffin for Notts this season. It's already had all the hallmarks of a relegation season. Three different managers before January. Owner ridiculed in the national press. Now the club is up for sale.

Don’t forget he is also a businessman. Which is in fact his main day to day job.
So if he has done it on purpose to try and take the pressure of a club he may only own for a short time more. Yet be remembered in his lifetime job for posting the picture he’s even dafter than he’s showed so far. And that’s saying something.

If it was a deflection tactic the bloke really needs to hire a PR company.

All it’s done is made more nationals pick up on the story, and point to him showing off his cock to a reason why.
